All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsBatteries on of offThis will be the first time that I leave the motorhome on the lot in Florida. What is the consensus on turning my coach and chassis batteries off. I will be on shore power for the 6 months I'm gone and don't know it the batteries should be left on or off. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, MikeGenerator front cover on a motorhomeI have a 2004 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and just noticed that the front cover for the generator was out of alignment so I attempted to tighten the screws that hold the cover on. I discovered that under the fiberglass they had used wood and the wood was rotten. I only have one solid screw and the others are removable by hand. How can I attach the screws without drilling and running carriage bolts to the outside of the cover which will then show from outside?Re: New Ram 1500 SLTI have a 2015 Ram and it has a great ride. My wife prefers it to her Toyota Highlander. As to Pogoing I have no idea what the poster is talking about. I haul a car trailer loaded and have no such problems. Good luck with your new truck.Feral cat in 5erI don't have a fiver but my friend has a Jayco 32' and somehow a cat got into the substructure and is between the floor and the lower part of the 5er. Does anyone have any idea how to get the cat out and where the cat might have entered? The 5er's bay doors were all closed at the time. Thanks, MikeRe: PowerTek Power Controller RL-1009Thanks for the quick reply Steve but I bought this part and it didn't work so I was looking elsewhere. MikePowerTek Power Controller RL-1009The above unit provides A/C power to my hot water tank. It's turned on via the 12v switch on my control panel The unit burned out and I understand that they no longer make it. Does anyone know where I can find one. Thanks, MikeRe: Candy Hill Winchester VaWhen I stayed at Candy Hill I was "chewed out" for not parking my Class A at the exact line drawn on the pavement at check-in. I chalked it up to a "power trip" by the employee and laughed about it later. I think that they have an "open pool" and allow outsiders to come in for a price which makes it very crowded for those who stay in the park and the "swimmers" didn't look to trustworthy. MikeEnd Cap for a Carefree of Colorado slide topperEnd Cap for a Carefree Awning I'm looking for an end cap for a Carefree of Colorado SOKII. I've already checked RV Dealership and they don't have one. I need the left cap and does anyone know where I might find one? Thanks, MikeRe: Tracfone on iPhone 4Thanks for posting this as I'm thinking of getting an IPhone 4s and using it on Tracfone in place of my LG. This helps me make the decision. MikeRe: Duramax IssueI have a 2004 LB7 which always had injector problems. I have put in 3 full sets but I paid $3500 for each set which included labor. I thought that the newer ones were far easier to replace and I really question why the charge was so high? Mike
