It is people like you who make this message board such a great resource.Re: Recall on the Keystone 31BHPR - Air conditioner control. Thanks, Steve-n-Vicki. It's nice to be able to double check that it was done correctly.Re: Recall on the Keystone 31BHPR - Air conditioner control.I asked Keystone to give me details of the fix. They refused.Re: Keystone Bullet PremierI was notified recently about a recall related to a fire hazard on certain Bullet and Passport trailers. Has anyone gotten this issue fixed yet? Any idea how the fix is done. They say it is labor only, no parts. Edit. I originally posted this in the general forum...but thought this thread may be more appropriate.Recall on the Keystone 31BHPR - Air conditioner control.I was notified recently about a recall related to a fire hazard on certain Bullet and Passport trailers. I am cross posting this there.Re: 2012 31BHPR front storage leakDeleted. Duplicate post.Re: 2012 31BHPR front storage leak camp-n-family wrote: Door to the outside of the frame is 31 1/4w X 17 1/4h. Door itself is 29x15. Hinge is 23 1/2. It looks like I have a little bit of that waviness on the inside too. It's just wall paper covering which could get like that from moisture and humidity I think, no signs of water getting in. Thanks for the measurement. I ordered a 32" drip cap. I plant to install it tomorrow. I will take pictures and post them. I believe my issue is a bit more severe than a little moisture. Not only is the insid a bit wrinkled.....when i stow the door in the up posituon, rusty water runs down the door. Not much, but enough to worry me.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier CampinEarls wrote: I measured the door, The actual door is 29", outside frame to frame is 31 1/4". When my door is all the way up till the little lock handle is touching the wall there is a 3/4" gap between the door and wall, you could get away with a 1" something and still latch it up. I wish it was easier to post photos here, I took a couple but I'll have to load them to photobucket and post them, the way my hinge is it kind of crests a drip rail above my door. Thank you. I ordered the 32" drip cap. I will make it work somehow. It is a little too wide to latch the door, I believe....but it will be a small price to pay if I can get the leak to stop.Re: 2012 31BHPR front storage leak camp-n-family wrote: I have a 2013 31BHPR but it is in storage down the road. I can swing by tomorrow and measure if nobody else can before then. Mine has never leaked at the storage doors but I do get a bit of water that sits in the bottom of the frame where the screws are. I saw that as a potential leak so I covered the screw heads with silicone caulk. Is the wavy bit of the panel at the top or bottom of the door? One thing I found odd is that there is no caulking around the door panels and the frame it sits in. You'd think water would get in between there and damage the doors like you see. I considered caulking each of the doors for this but mine seem to be fine. The drip cap looks like a potential fix but could you still fully open the door and use the latch once it's installed? The wavy part is on the inside of the door...closer to the bottom. I am not certain about the clearance. I guess I would rather deal with a dry door that wont stay open.....than rot and mildew/mold.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier CampinEarls wrote: I'll measure mine in the morning for you if you don't get the measurement before then. I will also check to see what kind of clearance is there when it is opened all the way and latched. My left side door does this sometimes but the door itself hasn't gotten wavy or anything, on mine water pools up between the bottom of the door and the housing. Much appreciated. I will take pictures the next time I got out to the trailer to illustrate the issue more clearly.
