My 2006 fleetwood cl C had to have the engine running and parking brake on for the slides to operate. My 2017 jayco has to have the engine off and brake set to operate slides. Sometimes I still forget and leaving engine running when trying to put slides out and DW has to remind me to turn it off.598Views0likes0CommentsRe: Pet Stairs
Our dog is 10 and 32# and needed help getting in and out of our cl C. We found a folding ramp at Bed Bath & Beyound for $ 50.00. It only supports 50# tho. I glued carpet on it as its heavy plastic and would have been slippy. When we are parked I go out & put ramp up for dog. after she goes in I just set it againt the rv til nex time. . I have had RV s for over 30 yrs. tag alongs,5th wheels , cl A and this is my 2nd Cl C, Had previous one 11yrs. Keep front tires at 65 psi,. Yes I got the before and after print out. This shop does a lot of my work so if not right I know where to find them.367Views0likes0CommentsFront end alignment
Took my 2017 Jayco Class c to have alignment done today. Told alignment guy wanted caster set at +5 5.5. He said having wonder and constant moving of the wheel and very fatigueing. I said you got it. He said he has done many of them and assured me it will make a big difference. Unfortunately I only live 6 mile from shop so didn't get to test it out. Have a 3 week trip planned in July with lots of Interstate and pulling a car. Have a 2017 Jayco redhawk 26xd that I purchased in June 2017. Have not had any issues. Only one I had was the medicine cabinet and fixed that myself. Added slide toppers to both slides. Just 2 of us and dog. Had a Tioga 30u by Fleetwood for 11yrs prior and had many problems. a lot of posting on forums are about problems . M.H with Progressive. Best rate I could find after checking with others. After 20+ years with Nationwide I just switched 2 personal vehicles to Progressive. Nationwide kept raising premium. No tickets and no claims except some hail damage 12 years ago. Saved 420.00 a yr switching. House gets changed from Nationwide when comes due in Jume.448Views0likes0Comments
