Grants Pass decision
Southbound in late December. At Grants pass there is a decision to be made. Keep going south on I-5 and go up through the Siskiyou mountains or head over to head over to 101 and drive down the coast. It will be snow season. I'll be heading to Yuma. About 300 miles/day is all that I like to drive. I want to plug in every nite. Are there plenty of RV campgrounds on this route? I'd cut across at Clear Lake and get back on to I-5. So, the big question is to cut over to 101 or stay on I-5? Small trailer being towed with a 4WD F150. I'll be making this trip come spring. I'm figuring 2 days. Then I'll meet up with my people and head to Gustafson Lake for some fishing. Where to stop along the way? Any Walmarts? Overnighting in rest stops allowed. Any clues will be appreciated. My thanks in advance.3.5KViews0likes10Comments
