I bought a portable one at WalMart last year to watch the series when we were camping. I just move it around until I get a good signal. Wish I had my old batwing from my old trailer worked very good. Have to get something like the Rayzar since the new one doesn't crank and the ceiling is too high to put a crank style in. Haven't seen too many opinions on this unit until now.Re: Here's why we're dropping all GS coverageI had a similar problem with all the junk mail. My mom and I purchased a her a new car. We used my address to reduce her sales tax, my address was much cheaper. It wasn't long after the purchase I started receiving a ton of junk mail in her name to my address. Mind you she has never used my address for anything other than the car. One way I fight junk mail is use an app on my i-phone called "paper karma". It doesn't get rid of all of it but has turned off about 40%. It does take some time on some, better than nothing. I also call some of the businesses and tell them I'm not interested. So far so good. As far as the Good Sam Insurance and Road Service, I called them the other day for a quote. Probably shouldn't have, but thought my Blue Sky rates were a little high. Guess I was wrong. They were just a little over, but after reading some of the issues with GS members I'll stick with Blue Sky. Progressive beat the heck out of BS but they are not exclusive RV types. Thanks for post.Re: Are air bags needed in a TV?You failed to say why you think you need them? Airbags will stiffen your suspension up some as well as level out your setup. I put Firestone on my 09, 2500 HD in an attempt to "firm up" the suspension. I'm pulling a 5th wheel and I was having some noticeable porpoising (up and down) I didn't like. I really didn't need it for the leveling aspect as my 2500 handled the trailer fine. I went with Firestone riderite's (riderite.com) because of the ratings and ease of installation. Takes some time and if you are semi mechanically intelligent you can handle the install. A friend gave me a compressor to install on board to make adjustments on the fly but haven't had time to get that far. The bags and Rancho 5000 adjustable shocks have helped the ride a lot. Almost eliminated the porpoising. Only get it on nasty bridges and whoop te do roads. Hope this helps.Re: Campgrounds Branson Mo.Check out this url (http://mostateparks.com/campgrounds/table-rock-state-park) for the Missouri State parks. My wife and I stayed there a few years back with our TT. Stayed in Camp Ground 1 right off of the water. Very quiet, clean and plenty of room for 5 er's, Class A's etc. You can book reservation on line or call. It has very good to perfect access to all of the Branson stuff as well. Whatever you do go see this show “SIX,” Mickey Gilly Theater: The six Knudsen brothers take Capella music to a whole new level, singing in familial harmony, beat-boxing and creating all manner of sound effects with no instruments other than their mouths. They were outstanding, music was from the 50's and 60's. You will be dancing in your seats!! Also grab your Trout rod and hit Taneycomo, just below Tablerock dam.Re: Need advice for air card recommendationAT&T, we use it for home and on the road. Plus they offer roll over data now/again. Our little hotspot is fast and covers all of the locations in the midwest that we go. will see how it is this summer going north to Canada and west.Re: 7-pin wiringGood job avvidclif1, definitely want to use the right gauge. That could cause for a "HOT" situation especially if your stuck at a light with your foot on the brakes for a while!! Hopefully would fry a fuse first.Re: 7-pin wiringMy 2009 2500 HD has the wiring harness under the bed just behind the cab on drivers side. It is part of the tow package. The moron that installed my 5th wheel hitch put the plug with a splice in the back near tailgate. Thank god he used the plug style to splice into the rear light plugs and didn't cut the wires. Why in the heck didn't he just use the harness to a 7 pin plug? If I knew he was going to do it that way I would have saved him the effort (and me $$) and done it myself. Some of the installers aren't the sharpest tacks in the box. Avoid Truck Trailer and Hitch in KC.Re: 2013 Ford F250 SyncI think Ford is way ahead of Chevy in regards to Iphone pairing. I have a buddy who owns a 2011 F-250. His truck will do way more with his Iphone than my Chevy will. The only thing the Chevy will let you do is call, talk with Siri, have her read your texts etc. It will not allow you to play your songs from your phone, Ford will. Chevy missed the boat for sure. Volkswagen is way ahead of Chevy as well. My wife's VW Sportwagen even allows her to play her music from her phone through her stereo. If your sync isn't working right take it back to your salesman, I would bet they can figure out the issue. Doubt it's a system glitch, probably operator install error.Re: Frigid Conditions Perdicted BobbyDale wrote: Just purchased a Fruzion and going to stay my first night tomarrow. Here in the fl panhandle thrusday morning its perdicted to be in the high teens. With the heat on in the rv should I be concerned with freezing water lines or tank? Thanks BobbyDale Or hook up and go further south!! Wish we could it was 10 today in KCMO.Re: K&NBeen using them for years on my Chevy trucks with no problem. Just follow directions about cleaning and oil. If your skeptical then use the regular ones!
