But they would eventually clear. Well on this 110 day outing, they both went bonkers. After emptying, the gray wouldn't go below 2/3 and the black was stuck at 1/3. I believe part of the problem was that we were stationary for two months. So, upon departure, I did the cup each of Calgon and Dawn on mostly full tanks. Sloshed down the road for a few hours on some twisty Colorado roads. Got to the campground and dumped the tanks. Both of them registered empty. Guess I'll just start doing this near the end of each long trip for good measure.Re: Help with Winegard Travler SK1000 and Hopper 3 LouLawrence wrote: Doing the manual selection pointing only proves that the center 119 LNB is working. It uses that one only even though you pointed at 3 different satellites. The LNB or cables from the LNB could be bad. Checking the cable(s) inside the arm down to the base would be a worthwhile project. You also need to disconnect each coax cable end (F connectors) and inspect for corrosion. Each end should have had a dab of dielectric grease to prevent this. Turning power off to the Winegard controller does not shut down power to the antenna. The power for the LNB comes from the Hopper IIRC. Mine is connected to a DTV Genie. Thanks for the reply. All my connections up top have been inspected and have dielectric grease applied.Help with Power Gear leveling systemNeed help with Power Gear leveling system on our 2016 Winnebago Journey. Haven’t called Lippert yet since it is a holiday weekend. Thought I would give you folks a shot at my problem first. My problem is the front two jack will not deploy. This happened last year. But that time it was caused by low voltage due to aged out chassis and house batteries. Replaced them and everything was happy. I have check the fluid level and It is good and my voltage is good. Any suggestions?Help with Winegard Travler SK1000 and Hopper 3I really need some help with our Winegard Travler SK1000 and Dish Hopper 3. I did the LNB and switch conversion to accommodate the Hopper at least seven years ago. It has functioned pretty much flawlessly since then. On this trip satellite system functioned normally in two previous two locations. Then I moved to a new location three days ago. According to my Dish locator app I have a clear sky shot at 110, 119 and 129. I deployed the Travler and only satellite 119 has an asterisk beside it on the power box. Check switch shows the other two are missing. I spent almost an hour on the phone with Winegard. We did a EL Re-Calibration. We disabled the multi-satellite mode and were able to do a manual find on 110 and got a lock and asterisk on it. Did the same on 119 and 129 and got lock and asterisk. I reenabled the multi-sat function and got a lock on 119 but not the other two. 119 has all the HD subscriptions and local channels that matter to us. I did run across an option on the internet called Hopper Check Switch with nuclear option. It tells you to unplug the Hopper, unplug the switch, wait one minute and reverse the sequence. Haven’ done that yet cause it didn’t make since to me because it thought turning off the Travler box killed the power to the dish anyway. Am I wrong on that? Or is the power inserter always feeding voltage to the dish? At this point Winegard is saying I possibly have a bent arm. I did replace the reflector because of a minor dinger. It had been working fine for about 5 years with the dinger. So, they sent me a photograph of the proper arm alignment. Checking it involves pressing power and select on the Travler box to kill the power with the dish deployed. Then I remove the reflector and manually fold the LNB arm back. I check that the arm is center in the reflector mounting plate. I just can’t imagine that the arm would all the sudden be bent. Just wanted to post here before doing the last two options. Thanks in advance for you help!Re: How long?Your first mistake was doing business with CW. You should have done business with a reputable business.Re: Not enough roomWhen I'm driving in unfamiliar territory, I start days or weeks ahead planning my fuel stops. I've found that Google Earth is a very good tool to use.Re: Cheap Win 10 laptopWith these specs. you are getting what you are paying for: 1.1GHz Processor; 4GB LPDDR4-2133 RAM; 64GB ROM Data Storage. Might be good enough for web browsing and email but not much else. Very slow processor, minimal ram and too little room for data storage much less any additional programs. Can't think of why I would want it .Re: Deisel handlingOur 2016 Winnebago Journey DP built on a Freightliner chassis handles like a dream. I can one handed it to periodically change driving positions, eat on the go or scratch. The exception is high winds. To me it drives like a big pickup truck. That is in contrast to our previous 2007 HR Endeavor DP. I guess some are better than others. But I do know that some class A gassers are notoriously squirrely.Re: 2022 campgroundsWe had a 3K mile trip planned for our summer get out of Arizona trip. Cut it about in half due to diesel prices and decided to not go outside Colorado. When we called to cancel our reservations in MT, ID and WY, were told those campgrounds were facing many cancellations. We were able to snag 10 days in Gunnison where you have to almost wait for someone to die to get in. We made reservations in Estes Park at the last minute and got a several week stay. Normally, they are booked months in advance. Manager said they've had lots of cancellations. Numerous vacant sites every night. Very unusual for Estes Park in July. With several decades of summer experience in Estes Park, I can say the crowds here are definitely thinner.Re: Los Algodones MexicoNo worries. Carry your own water in or drink bottled water provided. Montezuma's revenge is not lurking around every corner. Get your teeth cleaned and eat at one of several local eateries. Been doing it for years. Haven't died or caught anything I know of yet. Just use good sense. It is a great cultural experience to go there. Never felt threatened. If you are on prescription drugs, check at the "purple pharmacy". Either have a photograph of your overpriced American packaging or a copy of you prescription. You will pay 50% or less than what you are being ripped off for in the US.
