The exact same location on the opposite side from where I have the soft floor and water damage. Needless to say, I now have a tarp covering the entire trailer until it's dry and warm enough for me to get out there and recaulk. Yes, the tub is over my bathroom roof vent (the only one I have). One other thing I didn't mention is that from the outside of the trailer, I used duct tape to seal the range\microwave vent opening, the refridgerator vent and around my entire storage doors. There was so much air pouring out of these areas that I could feel it blowing on my hand. Inside the trailer, it didnt' seem like all that much air was moving in, but I don't think it takes a drastic amount to cause enough inside positive pressure. Also, once everything is sealed up and the doors are close, all that air has to go somewhere. It's definitley not enough to do any damage though and actually cause leaks. I would think you'd need to be pumping in an awful lot of air for that to occur.Re: My leak test setupThanks guys. I put weather stripping around the top of the tub. The item on top of the 2x6 is a lead anchor to keep it pressed down nice and tight. My only worry was that the anchor would fall off and fall through my roof, lol. I'm glad to report that wasn't the case and it was nice and solid. I just showed this to a coworker and he said he needs to do the same thing to his trailer but is going to try it with his electric leaf blower. I would imagine it puts out enough air to suffice. Oh and the flange on the tub is a 3" toilet ring gasket. I sandwiched weather stripping between it and the tub as well. PVC is also 3" with a 3" hole cut in the tub with a hole saw.My leak test setupI've been lurking for a while and decided to post a couple of pics of my leak test setup. I bought my first TT a month or so ago and she has a leak and some water damage to the floor (working on fixing that now). Step one was to find/confirm the location of the leak(s) and fix. I did some poking around here and came up with some good ideas for finding leaks. After some thought of what I have lying around the house I came up with the following: pump for my kids' bouncy house. A trip to Home Depot for some PVC, fittings and a plastic tub ($30) resulted in this setup. Worked like a charm! Found all the leaks this weekend and was pleasantly surprised that there were only a few. With the right setup, a squirt bottle of soapy water can be magic! Just thought I would share incase anyone else could benefit from this in the future.
