Problem with the isolator solenoid/relay. Simple and cheap to replace. enblethen wrote: No, the relays are not on the circuit board. My relay looks like a Ford starter relay. Many people call the relays "solenoids". Mine are silver cans about 1.5 inches diameter and two inches tall. The Big Boy relays are black and a little taller. Two large posts and two small posts for the control wires. Big boy Battery switch Mine has two control wire posts. Re: Side or rear radiator diesel pusher moisheh wrote: Ray Chez: You make some interesting comparisons but missed on the HP used. A rear rad usually runs constantly. No variable speed. Thus it is using HP all he time. A side rad only draws HP when the fan is running. And the fan speed is variable. Not entirely true. This would be the case for older coaches. But starting around 2008 Cummins started using electric fan clutches on all their rear radiator models. ISB, ISC, & ISL. I have also seen some late Cat C7's with fan clutches.Re: Slide help! newman fulltimer wrote: sounds like the shear pin has broken thanks! Any idea what the part number is or a diagram of how this goes together. I'm pretty sure that Fleetwood used the same assembly in all their Diesels from 2005-2008 Discovery,Excursion, Providence, Expedition & Bounder.Slide help!Need help with our bedroom slide. No issues for 8 years. Last few nights on this trip no problem either. Now we just arrived at our destination for tonight and tried to put our slides. The front 2 work fine, the bedroom won't go out. I hear clicking. So I take the bed apart so I can see the motor. the motor shaft and manual crank nut is turning, but the gear that moves the slide track is not. There is a shaft that connects the two that is in place but "may" have shifted. It's hard to see and I don't know exactly how these work. Anyone dealt with this before or familiar with my vintage Fleetwoods?Re: Fleetwood and Bounder Owners 2002 to 20082007 Bounder Diesel 38S. Owned since new. Its been an excellent coach. Our 3rd fleetwood. Other than a substandard stereo and rear view camera that I replaced early on. All of our dual pane windows fogged up at about the 5 year point. A problem from the window manufacturer that affected several brands.Re: Diesel engine milage mike brez wrote: wolfe10 wrote: Since the OP is discussing a coach with an ISM, it will have the even stouter Allison 4000 series transmission. Yes it has the 4000MH six speed with a retarder. Also has a tag. Sounds like a Foretravel to me. If so, and it's been well maintained Id certainly consider it if the floor plan suited us and I could get it a the right price. What Happened to Spartan?I was at the Pomona RV show yesterday. Visited all of the class A manufacturers. I did not see one that was built on a Spartan Chassis! Monaco, HR and Tiffin (AllegroBus) were on their proprietary chassis, everyone else was on Freightliner. It appears that Spartan left the RV chassis business.Re: "Sirius" radio problem, 2008 BounderI'm guessing you have the poor quality Jensen radio that Fleetwood installed. If you are stepping through the various inputs or bands and Sirius is not showing up as an option, the radio is not seeing the Sirius box. It's an outboard box that plugs into the dash radio. Ours was attached to the firewall at the far left side. Check to make sure it is getting power (fuse not blown) and the cord to the radio is plugged in tight. Its also possible that the outboard box has failed.Re: Adding third roof air conditioner, fitment question. Why not change your two exiting AC units to 15,000BTU models. Yes, you have to buy two units instead of one, but then you dont have all the customizing costs.Re: Power to AC's on Generator brobox wrote: Check the contacts on your transfer switch. That is where your shore power cable is connected to the MH. It sounds like one leg from the generator is not switching. This is the FIRST thing I would check.
