Re: Hello/questionthere might be a place designated but i figured i would put up some pictures of what we have... its not beautiful.. but for what we paid, i cant complain.. :) Outside The kitchen/dining area with the door to the bathroom in the background. Bedroom area.. i plan on putting a wall up eventually to close it off a bit more.. The strange box in the middle.. And inside the box is the holding tank and the elusive heater.. haha Im pretty sure its not original manufactured and that it was moved here for some odd reason... The wifes truck.. AKA our tow vehicle.. our "plastic covered Tahoe". My daily driver.. call me crazy living up here in NH and driving it.. :E Re: Hello/questionwell, it looks like ill have to remove the exhaust from the outside and disconnect the wires and maybe one more screw in the back (wall side of unit) then hopefully it can come straight up out of the box. We have an electric heater to keep us warm but i would really like to get this going so we can actually use ut when we arent connected to a main circuit somewhere... randomly however, my fridge actually "turned on".. well, the indicator light on the control board did- and the switches change the light back and forth from auto to LP or off... BUT, it doesnt seem like anything else is occurring.. behind the fridge (running on 120V) i would expect to feel SOME warmth from the coil warming up the ammonia... but i cant feel anything.. havent bothered with propane yet- i doubt the pilot will light anyway, so id rather not risk leaking the propane out.. but the fridge doesnt seem to be getting any colder... im sure it might take some time, so ill give it another day... oh and the camper is level etc..Re: Hello/questionthat would be ideal.. but they cost alot of $$ im sure... even to repllace the fridge was almost $1300.00!! theres achance i could get lucky and come across one, but then makng it fit/work with the vents could be a challenge if its not the same one... i might just cut the case open and bend it out of the way to get to everything inside..Re: Hello/questionallright everyone... i managed to find the furnace.. had to pry up some things.. it was in the "box" with my water storage tank. its seems to have been tampered with in the past, but nothing to where it would affect anything.. I checked all wires for power. Black wire- + 12.7V white wire- - V brown wire/insulation with two wires (thermostat by my judgement) --one had constant 12V.. the other gave out 12V when i turned the thermostat on... so power was there, but nothing was happening... so being curious me, stuck my little fingers into the end of the blower motor to rotate it a bit. all of a sudden it started to rotate but immediately got jammed again. then a loud electonic buzzing etc. because of it being stuck. i went right to the control panel and shut off the power to the converter.. waited, then kicked it back on just because- as soon as i did the fuse blew for the furnace.. when i put my fingers in the blower (power off this time) its obviously jammed up and the whole motor/blower is sitting in loose causing it to hit.. my next problem is.. how do i get the outer case off to try and fix it.... it looks like i might have to disassemble and remove the assembly.. which is something id really prefer not to do... :( Re: Hello/questionok.. most likely fridge with my luck... haha- ill see how difficult it is to pull out the convertor and take a peek...Re: Hello/questionhmmm... you know what.. there is a really annoying/awkward box in the middle of the camper taking up all kinds of space... inside the box is the holding tank from what i could see.. im gonna take the whole lid off and see if maybe they hid it in there with it..Re: Hello/question^yep! i understood the inside outside ports.. haha probably wouldnt be good to have the exhaust inside.. :P but, ill most likely have to pull out the control panel/converterbecause the exhaust ports are in that area. the sink is right next to it but its empty underneath... thanks again for the tips everyone.. ill get some pictures and some more exact details about mine as soon as i can...
