I wonder if there's some kind of noise present. dont think so but today i will see if i can do some more testing another thing i thought was to test if the ground is clean. I had him test the voltage and it showed 12.4V but maybe the ground has some issueRe: Propane Detector Issuewas connected for quite a while. strange thing is as soon as i plug it directly into the battery it works fine but when it is plugged into the wire inside the TT it stops after a few blinks. i even hooked up a 12V pump to the same wires and it runs finePropane Detector IssueA friend of mine bought a new detector (Atwood 36720) to replace his old detector. He couldnt get it to work so i took a look at it. He connected it to the wires from the old detector. When it connects the red led blinks i think 5 times (instead of the 3 minutes as it says in the manual) and then goes dark and thats it. Test button does not do anything either. Now i tried connecting it directly to the battery and it works just fine. Then i measured the voltage on the wires it was conmnected to and it was 12.4V. Proper polarity as well. Any thoughts why it wouldnt work on these wires? one thing i have not tested is if the voltage goes down under load on these wires which would be strange as the load is almost nil but will try that thanksRe: Question regarding used travel trailersi checked with coachmen and they said that indeed the walls on the slide out on this trailer are not laminated or glued but just held in place on the outside.Re: Question regarding used travel trailersit almost seems to me like it is supposed to be that way because the whole side is like it. not like there are bubbles or anything and the material underneath is solid but i want to make sure before i go further.Question regarding used travel trailersi was looking at a used 2013 coachmen freedom express with a slideout it looks like it was in good shape but one thing i noticed was that both side walls on the slideout (the ones that are hidden when closed) are not bonded at all. is this normal on this trailer or is there something wrong? pretty much all other trailers i looked at the walls have the same feel as the vacuum bonded main walls. thanks for any helpFirst TimerWanted to get a travel trailer for a while but now am finally looking into getting one. Have done a bit of research for a while and i think the model i like is one with bedroom in front small living area in the back and couch and dinette in between. 31 foot max.Mostly for me and my better half and sometimes i may have someone crash. I am looking into possibly buying a used one, not too old maybe 2-3 years old. If i cant find something used i am open to buying a new one as well. I am pretty good with buying cars but with travel trailers i dont have any experience. For pricing what are the things i need to know to get a good deal. i have read about around 30% MSRP on a new trailer and then obviously less for a used one depending on years, condition etc. What about MSRP. With cars you know what the MSRP is. is it the same with trailers? What about other things like all the garbage they try to add to cars is it going to be the same with trailers? (i am guessing so) In cars there is a destination charge which is a legit amount. Do they have the same for trailers? The model i am interested in is Aerolite 288RLSS North Trail 26LRSS Heartland Wilderness 2750 or similar. Any info on these and painters as to which one might be a better choice would be appreciated so far i have done a lot of research online but am planning on going out soon to look at some in person and want to be well prepared. thanks for any help Mike
