Used to use NuFinish - this is much better. It also goes so far, I would bet one bottle would easily do your entire rig with some left over. Check the reviews!Re: Chama, NMWe took the train ride in Sept some years ago, and there was plenty of snow. Beautiful area and well worth it, but be prepared for the elements. Every year varies, it might be 80 when you get there, just check the forecast.Re: $741.99 on Amazon: Champion 3100 watt Inverter GeneratorLatest version of the CPE 3100: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261463919444?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Maybe that's why the former model is priced lower - to clear stock.Re: Do all size 78 engine batteries mount identically at base?Been using Costco group 78 for many years on several GM cars with no problems. Every one has had the mount as you describe. Which is not to say all 78 types from all makers must be that way, but Costco is. I have never seen a 78 battery not that way. Good value with 36/100 warranty.Re: route 66, Kingman to Needles livelylittlecampers wrote: I would love to do the Route 66 Trip. I recommend that you read ROUTE 66 Still Kicks by Rick Atkinson. Great travel with lots of history and the narrative of his own trip. Best--Jeremy Rick Atkinson is a marvelous author who writes about military history. He suddenly became a "fireman" as did nearly everyone aboard. He related some terrible stories about that tour, both before, during and after the fire. Seems an electrical anomaly caused a missile to discharge on board, then all He** broke loose. He had some pictures taken by other crewmen at the time. He finally retired Navy after 30 years at Mayport in Jacksonville, FL. That missile shot across the deck and hit the jet parked next to that of John McCain - he was able to get out to fight another day. A few months later he was downed over North Viet Nam. The History Channel did an excellent story on the Forrestal incident - lots of heroes on board that day. It's very worthwhile to find a repeat of that story. Since all fight operations are filmed, there is much documentation. A college friend was an Ensign aboard a destroyer escorting the Forrestal and saw it all. Planes burning on deck, bombs exploding, flight deck ruptured, fire in the hanger deck, etc. No way would they save her.............. but they did. One tough ship, one tough crew.Re: Oil Undercoating NightmareQUOTE: "I took it to the local guy, that I've known for over 30yrs" Is this a business? Can he or his insurance (?) cover the expense to "fix" things? You get a lawyer, you begin down a different path where probably no one wins but the barrister. Try to work it out and hope those 30 years will mean something. I don't think your insurance will do anything.FLOOR PLAN............ or lack of oneDoing internet browsing of used RV's of all types, I am amazed how few sellers post a floor plan of their rig. If looking at any type of real estate - house, apartment, condo, etc, it is the first thing to appear. Now, assuming the seller has the complete model (is it a 32B or 32G?) I can usually find the floor plan online. Buy why the reluctance? Sure, they have to find a link or scan and then add to the listing. If you want to sell something, make it accomodating for the buyer. Dealers are better than private parties but still very few do. They often have tremendous well written ads with many, many photos(I've seen up to 200). But without a floor plan, it is often hard to see the forest for the trees. Your thoughts?Re: To grease the ball or not?The torque on my ball is spec'd at 175. If you guys have balls loosening, maybe you better check the tightness.
