All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsWhich Michelin for Class CI am replacing my current Michelin M/S2 tires on my 31 foot Class C. The tire size is LT 225/75R16. My questions is which tire to go with since the M/S2 is no longer available. I am interested in your experience with the actual tires I am listing. Once I tried another tire and had them replaced after one trip so I am only interested in Michelin tires. The three styles I am considering are: LTX A/T2, XPS Rib, and Agilis CrossClimate. The Rib tires are steel belted so my concern here is ride and handling. Thank you for your help.Re: Replacing StereoAgree, Crutchfield is the way to go. After two Jensens went out rather quickly, I bought a 2 Din Sony from Crutchfield and never looked back. Better radio and great customer service.Re: 2007 E450 Cruise Control D.O.A.I had the same problem on my 2008 Tioga with the E450. Took it to a Ford truck repair shop and they said it was the "clock switch". Some type of multi-switch unit in the top of the steering column. They replaced it and I have had no more problems. They did remark that this is a common problem. Good Luck, EarlRe: Tioga Fresh Water TankMy 08 tioga Ranger 31W has a 44 gallon water tank. (mfg in 07 They went to the larger tank in 2010 (mfg in 09) First year Ford made the bolder, larger front end. Mine is located under the bed. The larger tanks are in the slide out according to the dealer where I bought mine. Wife and I go 2-3 days without refilling. We both shower everyday. Hope this helps. Earl2008 tioga slide out motror accessI have a 2008 Tioga Ranager. The slide out motor has failed. It appears to be a gear. It is a Power Gear motor. The problem is the motor sets on the main floor of the RV, UNDER the slide out. There is no way to access it. I am thinking I need to cut out a section through the slide out floor under the dinette seat to get it out. Going from underneath the camper through a storage compartment does not see like an option to me. If I cut a section of slide out I could repair it when finished. It would only be a 14 x 10 inch section. I need an access to be able to manually put the slide in and out anyway. Does anyone had experience in this type of repair, especially Tioga owners. Thanks for your help. EarlFasteners for solor panelsWhat type of fasteners should I use to attach two solar panels to the roof of an Eagle Cap truck camper? Each one has a bracket at each corner. They will be mounted one behind the other starting at the left front corner of the roof panel, just behind the seam of the front cap. I am concerned about the wind lift pulling the panels up. Have seen others do it but I don't know whether to use rivets or some type of screws. Thanks in advance for the advice. TiogaearlRe: 1995 Conquest cruise control not workingHad the same problem. All fuses good. Turned out to be clock switch. Ford repair shop indicated that this was a common problem.Re: E-Series TorqShift Transmission Fluid & Filter ChangeFord calls for transmission and filter change at 30,000 miles. I have a 2007 model E-450 with the V-10. First change I had a local shop do at 27,000. At 47,000 (20,000 miles) I did it myself. Since I did not change the fluid in the torque converter I plan to change it after 20,000 more miles. The early change also should help with extreme service such as towing. It took 11 quarts to fill it up after changing. Try to measure what you get out and start with that going back. I will take more than you measure due to spillage and fluid in the filters. The original change on mine was by a Ford truck shop and they used Mercon LV fluid. I went to another dealer when I did mine and they also specified Mercon LV. Reading on the Ford forum, that is correct as the SP has been discontinued. You have two filters. The one shown in your picture and a more conventional on inside the transmission pan. Naturally I would change both. I hope this helps and answers your questions. Earl
