Mine was my fault. The inside consisted of a captive nut that the threaded rod moves up and down through. If the rod, or the square tubing gets tweaked, (even a slight bend), it will start to bind. That results in an increased load on the motor and drawing more amperage and blowing the fuse. Worse is the stress it puts on the threaded rod. That can result in the rod breaking,(which mine did) with very dangerous results. I would not hesitate to replace the leg!! Those legs are lifting a lot of weight!! I increased my weight by going from 1 70lb battery to 4 63lb batteries. Hope this helps!Re: LED strip light installNope! Hope that does not happen. But should it I think I can figure out something.Re: LED strip light installThanks for linking! I connected directly to an open 12V circuit on my converter > 14g silicone wire to the terminal block > terminal block to LED receiver > LED receiver to 16' LED extension via internal channel for the awning power > to LED light strip, (siliconed connection). Located the hole and connection for the running light. Drilled a small hole in the running light plate and ran the remote sensor to the hole. Done. I left out the 2hours plus that I used an electrical fish tape to run the 16' extension through the horizontal frame channel that was used for the awning power. Hope this helps.Re: LED strip light installThis should include all the parts I used. Except for the 9v adapter cable which I had from my guitar pedal spares. Very tedious but clean. Remote sensor is in the running light. Re: Tiffin Shorty Makeover: Kitchen IslandMother of invention! Great idea. Looks great. Goes to show you can make a silk purse from a sows ear:)Re: Replacing front cap decals alternativeI think the painting is the best long term option. I believe that wraps have a limited life span just as the original decals do. I have thought along the same lines as fyrflie. Lot of labor but longer lasting results I think.Re: Roof UpgradeI was interested about Flex-Seal so I read the label. It appears that it has a number of additives that do not appear to be compatible with most "rubber" roofs. I could be mistaken though.Re: Peanut butter sauceWell I do like to make PB sauce but I just use the "mixed" peanut butter. I know that the "oil" on the top of natural peanut butter is usually mixed with the contents. Otherwise it is very hard to spread. Soy sauce and ginger sounds like a great addition!
