- Lenny_KExplorerRemotes are easy to find and buy on Amazon and are real cheap.
- sjturboExplorerNope! Hope that does not happen. But should it I think I can figure out something.
- 4x4vanExplorer IIIDo you also have a manual switch for if/when you lose or misplace the remote?
- bob213ExplorerThank you for the info. Nothing better than directions in English!
- sjturboExplorerThanks for linking!
I connected directly to an open 12V circuit on my converter > 14g silicone wire to the terminal block > terminal block to LED receiver > LED receiver to 16' LED extension via internal channel for the awning power > to LED light strip, (siliconed connection). Located the hole and connection for the running light. Drilled a small hole in the running light plate and ran the remote sensor to the hole. Done. I left out the 2hours plus that I used an electrical fish tape to run the 16' extension through the horizontal frame channel that was used for the awning power. Hope this helps. - bob213ExplorerLooks good. Did you hook directly to 12v? Can you do away with the AC to DC converter?
- IAMICHABODExplorer IINicely done,I made your parts list clickable so it would be easier if anyone wanted to do the same thing.
