Have had a trickle charger hooked up during summer, however, now that the weather is turning cooler, it is not keeping the batteries up. I am considering buying a battery charger. Does anyone have a recommendation? Specs for charger, etc? All suggestions are appreciated.CAT DIESEL WILL NOT HOLD PRIMEI have a 1989 Elite Coach with a CAT diesel pusher. Believe it is a 3208. After it sits a couple of days, i have to use hand pump to prime. Since I am an old goat with a bad shoulder, this makes it difficult. Anyone have suggestions as to what could be the problem or a fix.?Parking SurfaceHave a question concerning parking surface for motor home. Have a Class A, 36 Foot rig which I intend to keep at my house until next spring in order to do some work on the interior. After that, we will move to a storage lot. Issue is not a legal one of parking in the yard, but concerning the mechanics of doing so. Since it will only be here for 6-8 months, I do not want to pour a concrete pad or spend $$$$$ to have a gravel pad constructed. My thought is to park it on grass, on concrete stepping stones and lay plastic underneath the unit to keep down moisture. Would wood be better than the concrete stones. Any input will be appreciated?Re: Ignition SwitchWOW! Thanks to everyone who responded. My real problem is that the wires are not connected to the switch. I could trace, but would not know which terminal to connect to which wire. Think I will find a good local mechanic to work this one out for me. Thanks again to everyone who responded. I didn't expect so many so soon. Stick around, you have certainly not heard the last from me.:)Ignition SwitchI have just purchased a 1989 Elite Motor Home with a 320 CAT DIESEL. It is a low budget project, to I may have to do it myself on several items. Immediate problem is that the ignition switch is not wired resulting in none of the electrical systems working. Including lights! I have no owners manual and am at a loss at how to approach this issue short of taking it to a local RV dealer. Questions: Since the various connections are not color coded, I am afraid to play Russian Roulette and just start connecting wires to the terminals on the switch. Could that fry something? It is all 12 volt. I realize this sounds like it is coming from an idiot, but my last RV experience was about 30 years ago with a STARCRAFT POP-UP. so, HELP!!!!!
