You will probably have a dirty carb. If you think it's the fuel filter open the fuel bowl drain screw while the generator is running you should have a solid stream of gas if you do and it continues to run you don't have a delivery problem. Yes and no. There are federal emissions standards and California emissions standards. But since it has over 6000 miles and is over 6 months old California will accept it and smog it with federal standards. Don't take the intake all the way off unhook the ring around the air cleaner assembly then unsnap the duct from the radiator core support and you will have plenty of room. On the bottom side you may want to take off the plastic air dam it is three or four plastic push pins. Thanks for your input I typically am pretty cautious in leaving it out. It's always in when we go to bed and almost never left out when not there. The question came about from a&e not giving you any specs on putting it in and to use good judgement. I used a intelltec bi-directional-isolater-relay-delay or bird. And mounted it under my step next to may charge relay to charge my engine battery when on shore power. It also put a delay in charging the house batteries off if the engine to give so it is not such a hard hit on the alternator when you first start the engine470Views0likes0Comments
