BBQ grills, Sun shades, and all types of towels and stuff. I don't believe there is a big problem of stuff disappearing. At least it has never happen to me. I've been Rving for over 40 years. Hope this helped you. Oh and I have also seen the pick nick table that belongs to the camp sight moved into the parking area.Re: Which Oregon Highway? They are pretty much the same in my opinion. The more scenic drive would be 26 to 35 to 84 longer slower but you get magnificent views of mount Hood. Also 26 and 35 are not as good as 97 or 197 I don't know what your towing or hauling. Big rig stick to 197 97 small rig the 35 would be very pretty. Hope that helps. At first I thought you were at Sisters that's on the coast but I assume your at Three Sisters correct? At any rate drive safe and enjoy the rideRe: Down to Road trek?Class Bs are a lot of fun for sure. Lots of ++++ I had one when I was younger and had just gotten married. Loved spending time with the wife and that's a very good thing.. Because Class Bs are very tight. Specially after having an A or C. I sold my C to buy the B and Never a regret. However the older we got the harder it was to live in a small space. So we got rid of the B and now have a fifth-wheel. We are still loving each other and still enjoy each others company (not sure that would be the case if we had kept that B) :-)FYI. Ford F150 V8 Just got back from a 500 mile trip on 101 here in Oregon. Took my F150 and my fifth wheel and wanted to share the results. Traveled 526 miles up and down the Oregon coast. Some times it rained some times it was clear and some times it was very windy Total CGVW 7850. Total trailer weight 7950lbs The truck is a 2018 Ford F150 V8 with tow package. Gas millage was 9.7 mpg. I was very pleased the way the truck handled the load. We have some pretty stiff climbs here in Oregon and I was quite pleased with the power range. Managed to maintain 55 mph (thats the speed limit here on 101 in Oregon)through all the climbs. Breaking seemed antiquate for the job. I would not hesitate to take this truck and combo cross country. JMO. I know we are always talking about TV on this forum and just thought you would be interested in the performance.Re: Water Damage?Don't be too certain that it is water damage it could be a whole bunch of things and not water damage. Does the wall feel spongy when you touch it? If not it just might be the glue they used to put it on or it might be the wall paper or it might be all kinds of things and not water damage. Could have gotten something spilled on it at one point and now just does that because the glue has been compromised.Re: Vancouver, B.C. to Whitehorse via Vancouver Island?I have made that trip and the roads on the island are very good. I stayed on the East side of the island and had no problems with the road at all. I took the ferry from Port Hardy to Bella Coola. Then up the Hill to the mainland fun trip.Re: Foggy Windows jaycocamper62301 wrote: all my glass shops say order new, repair is impossible I too have never been able to repair them. OH I've tried with no successRe: Hwy 97?Should be a pretty easy ride. 97 is a good highway. I travel it with a fifth wheel with no problems at all.Re: California and Oregon coast in winter IdaD wrote: diazr2 wrote: You must be a tough son of a gun to want to visit us in Feb March and April.. Good for you.. I mean, it's rainy but I don't think you need to be all that tough to endure winter on the Oregon coast. There's not a single month of the year where the average high drops below 50 degrees and the average low barely dips into the 30s. No the weather is not cold cold or hot hot, but I have seen it rain day and night for the entire month of March and half of Feb. Not rain rain but soaking drizzle like living in a cloud. Then because our weather is not cold or hot you get mold that forms on anything that is not heated constantly. Tough well maybe tough is the wrong word how about "persistent". Constantly drying things out constantly getting mud and fur leaves out of every nook and cranny of your house, RV, Boat and truck and as far as doing anything outside on days like that you will be looking like you swam a marathon. But nowhere close to the freezing snow you have in Idaho. I would much rather spend winters on the coast than anyplace in Idaho you guys have some nasty nasty cold out that wayRe: Open trailerBeen to Alaska four times and most of the roads are very good.. BUT... The way they fix their roads up there is they tare up 20, 30, 40, miles of it at a time. They just put down gravel and add rain and huge 18 wheelers in a big hurry it gets very messy very quick. So yes your bike would be safe most of the time till you hit one of those stretches of road they are working on..Then not so much. I have broken two windshields bent one axle. Its quite the adventure.
