My solution was two fold: grind off the sharp edge all the way across the subfloor. I also used Slide slickers on the ends of the slide however I put them under the middle so the slide would bend back while I was driving. It has worked so far. ChuckRe: Fleetwood Bounder SlideOn One of my Bounders of the past & on my Discovery the bedroom tv pulls out of the back wall. I had to make sure that the tv was all the way in before I could put the slide in. The tv cabinet has a switch on it. Chuck, 2002 37T DiscoveryRe: freezer door air leak and icingAs funny as it seems, I had frost build up in Dometic on my 2002 Discovery. Found on door of frezer a sign that says do not put shelf on door in this position. There are several shelves on the door already and they are removable. One could be in the don't put in this spot position. It was holding the door open slightly. I have also packed the frezer to full at times where the frozen food held the door open. I is worth a look. ChuckRe: Atwood water heater bypass problemSometimes the check valve is in different places on the W/H. Mine was near the by-pass valve and I have heard of some right on the rear of the W/H. Replaced mine last spring and now will have to see if working when I winterize. ChuckRe: Replacing Hot Water ByPass ValveTry cleaning the aireator on each faucet. They could be full of sediment from the water heater. I think you said that you were in the Arizona area before your trip and there is very hard water there causing sediment in the tank. also there is an attachment type yellow wand which you use to clean out the water heater tank by inserting in the drain hole and attaching it to a water hose. You will be surprised at the amount of sediment that will come out. First just unscrew the aireator on each faucet and run the hot water water without it to see if clogged. ChuckRe: Replacing Hot Water ByPass ValveHad similar situation and was the hot water check valve or backflow valve located either on heater or in line near heater. See if you can talk Paramount RV into working on it today. If it is the by pass ask them for the same service. We live in Sparks when we are home. Call me if you need further info. ChuckRe: approximate cost of replacing decals.Had my very cracked, faded decals replaced at RV Stripes & Graffics in Mesa AZ. last year. Cost around $2700.00. Wife and I had worked on them first until we tired when we contacted them. You cane stay in their lot with electric. It took two and a half days. ChuckRe: Inside Cover for Shower SkylightThis has worked for the last 10 years on my 2002 Discovery. The shower sky light has two parts and the inside part comes off with screws. I put some silver car type window cover with some bubble wrap in it between the two skylight parts. You can buy the silver stuff at Home Depot or other Hardware stores. It comes in rolls and I have used the rest in my front window of the RV in intense sun light and heat. Just take down the inside of the skylight lay the silver stuff over and put it back. It could work. ChuckRe: Removing vinyl graphics and restoring finish? We removed part of our cracked stripes also. It got too hard for way up high so after a year we decided to have them done. They are RV Stripes & Graphics in Mesa AZ. It took two and a half days for them to do the job and we choose new colors they went over the place where the old graphics were. They did a great job and you can stay in the RV while they are working on it or use a RV park just down the street. Their phone is 408-984-799 (Steve). We are well pleased with the work that we had done there in January. Chuck
