Don't know why the new trucks are so tall but my newer (2015) is 58" tall and my older (2003) truck is 53" and I am concerned with bed clearance issues.Re: Converter problems? 2oldman wrote: The squealing could also be due to the failing converter. You are desvribing a converter that has went bad Yes it was 12.8Converter problems?I woke up this morning to the lp detector squeeling and there is no leaks or anything blocking it. If the convertor breaker is shut off it stops the squeeling. Also the power converter keeps cycling on and off also causing the lights to brighten and dim. The battery is at 12.8, not dead, don't know what to do, any ideas, thanks.2015 Chevy 2500HD bed heightWas looking at some new (2015) Chevy 2500 HD 4x4 trucks and they seem tall. I rough measured (since in the car and no tape measure) the height of the bed and when I got home found that the bed height is about 1.5-2" taller than my F-250. Has anyone had problems with bed clearance with the newer Chevys pulling fifth wheel? Pulling a 32' Salem toyhauler fifth wheel.Re: What did you do to your Toy Hauler today???Put a set of heavy LT G rated 14 ply tires on.
