If so what kind. 2500 HD 6.0 gasser pull a fifth wheel. Thanks https://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/26924844.cfm I put an RDS in my Gas truck 5 years go. It worked perfect. As mentioned you will need to pump it to the main tank to be legal. Make sure you buy a solenoid valve to cut the flow when you turn off the pump. I also tied the rds tank vent to the evap system on the truck to keep pressure equal and no check engine light. PM me if you have questionsRe: 2WD vs 4WD? I'd give a nudge to the IFS unloaded for a smoother ride but at the end of the day, they are both trucks and ride like such. As for 4WD, I swore I didnt need it until the first time I needed it. I will NEVER go with out it again.Re: Toy hauler on a gasser? gattorgetter wrote: 6.0 gas on both 4.10 rear end.. payload varies Having had a 6.0 and towed with it, I consider that a 10,000 pound max trailer tow vehicle.Re: 2007 Cummins Onan 5500 marquis gold gasoline generator lincster wrote: Very interesting akcooper9. It wasnt until I pulled the altitude screw and cleaned that passage did I have success. My father also has a onan 5500 that was having running issues and once he pulled the altitude screw and cleaned, his generator ran like a champ again.Re: Toy hauler on a gasser? gattorgetter wrote: My bad I meant to say that I am looking at 5th wheel toyhauler's What motor is in the 1 ton Chevy?Re: 2007 Cummins Onan 5500 marquis gold gasoline generator lincster wrote: If the carb sat with old gas in it for too long, carb is gummed up. I have read very few cases of people being able to get their carbs cleaned out of the very small orifices well enough to get the genny to run. Most have to buy a new carb. This is due to the altitude screw. One needs to pop the black part off and then unscrew the screw and clean.Re: 2007 Cummins Onan 5500 marquis gold gasoline generatorPull the altitude black cover off, mark the screw and turn it in and count the turns. Then pull it out and clean the passage. Put it back together and it will run like a champ.Re: Any shorter than 35 ft 5's with > 100 gal water capacity? tinner12002 wrote: My 30ft toy hauler I had carried over 100gal of fresh water, so I know there are lots of them out there that also carry 100 plus gals. +1 our 30ft toyhauler 5er holds 125 gallons of fresh water.
