All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsRe: LP Generator Starts then StallsHad the same issue when I replaced my regulator. New regulator was said to be capable of supplying up to 400,000BTU but generator error codes said fuel issue. Returned Camco regulator and replaced with different brand and problem solved. Sounds like the regulator on your single tank has the ability to supply enough volume.Re: Portable deck / stepWe looked at their porta step a few years back and really liked the idea that their top step was deep enough that you could stand on it and open the door. the step portion is similar to the Torqlift Glow step. These just hook on your existing step. Very solid but you need to have the space to carry themRe: DripI used JB Water weld to fix a cracked fitting on black tank. this stuff is made to fix water leaks and will even work under waterRe: I'm installing rigid insulation on the underbody.....As far as the bulge from the tank you can run a steel strap from frame rail to frame rail under the tank. Install with an empty tank, pull tight and screw to the frame. A lot of units come this way.Re: Adding second AC myselfNot really that hard to get up on the roof. One person on the roof to pull the rope other person on the ground. Leave the unit in the box, wrap rope around it and push and pull it up an extension ladder. If the unit is truely preped for 2nd air the wires will be tucked under the vent bezel and the manufacturer can tell you where the thermostat wire is buried in the wall. Check and see if the existing ducts terminate at your existing vent cover and if they do I would install a unit that can hook into the existing duct workRe: How much squat can I expect? We have a 2016 GMC 35000 4x4 and with about 3800lbs pin load we get about 2" of squat. Our Lifestyles RV came with a high clearance suspension and I only have 5" of bed clearance when level. Not sure you're going to be level and have much bed clearance with that setup.Re: 5th wheel hitchWhat ever hitch you decide on take a look on craigs list for it. Pretty much everyone made can be found there for some pretty good deals. I picked up a Kurt 20K for $200 that was like new. Have towed over 10,000 miles with it and no chucking or disconnecting issues at all.Re: 2014 Chevy puck systemGM did not have the puck system until the late 2016 model year. Look for a manufacture name and model number on the brackets bolted to the frame. Agree E-Trailer should be able to identify itRe: Adding side panelsTry searching J wrap panel. Had to replace part of the lower panel on former RV due to tire blow out. Local sheet metal fabricator was able to make the panelRe: Would you go with 2nd AC?Ours had the option to have a vent and the 2nd air in the bedroom. Friends of ours have both and it is the best of both worlds. Whole lot cheaper to add a vent then a second air conditioner later.
