I stopped off in TN for a few days to look around at property and to stock up on supplies, food, etc. and by the end of the day I had paid $100.00 in TAXES! I took a look at my receipts and their state tax is almost 10%. I got back into my MH and started heading further south! I thought Tennessee was one of THE places most people like to retire to. :? No income tax in Tennesee. As far as the sales taxes are concerned, you didn't happen to be in the Memphis area, did you? Sales taxes are the highest in the state.Re: Memphis TnThey may have good security there, but take heed the suggestions about not going out at night in that area. Apart from Graceland itself, there isn't much else to do or see within the immediate vicinity. If you don't have to have full hookups, Hernando Point at Lake Arkabutla, about 25 miles south of there near Hernando, MS is a nice QUIET campground. I did my break in trip there and have been a couple of other times just to go fishing or see the lake. If sewer is a requirement, there are two campgrounds in Horn Lake, MS (10-15 minutes south of Graceland) that are clean, have pools, playgrounds, etc., but are just a bit on the high side price wise.Re: Ball section on WDH slipped. There is a bolt at the bottom of my Equalizer specifically to keep the hitch head tight against the shank when tightening the through bolts. I break out the 3/4" drive tools to tighten those nuts, the manual on my hitch specifies 350-400 ft/lbs torque on those bolts, which is even pushing it for a 1/2" impact.
