Unable to regain speed after refueling
After getting gas in Alabama (from Michigan), we got on the on-ramp to I65 and started to speed up in order to gain access to the highway. We were unable to accelerate. Felt like brakes were applied. Pulled over to the shoulder and attempted to move vehicle forward and in reverse and again felt like brakes were locked up. Could this be a problem with the drive shaft parking brake system on 1993 Chevrolet P-30 chassis or does someone have another idea. The RV is in a shop in AL pending diagnosis. As seniors, my husband and I are getting exhausted trying to keep up with increases in our costs. We have a 30' 1994 RV that we use just TWICE a year - getting back and forth from Michigan to FL with our dogs. The rest of the year, it just sits in our driveway going "cha-ching" because it is costing us $53/month all year long with Progressive and we have a sparkling driving history. Does anyone have any advice for where we might get seasonal insurance or suggest something else.
