My eyes might be wrong but is that an Ohio tag on your coach? Did you buy it here in Ohio and drive it home? Glad you got it in.Re: Allison Tranny codes? Thanks Guys for the information as it was very much appreciated and thanks for the link. I will keep that link handy.Allison Tranny codes? Can someone tell me what these Allison Transmission codes mean? The codes for the transmission are #U2105 & U0100 This is a 2500 Tranny. Vintage 2001. The Allison shop where my friend took his Motor Home to claims they have never seen them before and offered no help which sounds very strange. I did a search and what I find does not make any sense to me so, maybe someone knows the answer. Thanks for your helpRe: Summit RV stainless trim on AllureJust a footnote to my earlier post. While I am not here to try and sell Summit products or do I have any interest in the company, if you go with the armor on the bottom of the doors, you might also consider adding the step covers as this completes the flow of the stainless look IMHO. I have the armor, step covers and getting ready to add the inside step kick plates which really jump out when you open the entry door. To the poster with the Winnie with the armor. Great pics, great looking coach and thanks for sharing. Your pics say it all. It all comes down to personal taste IMHO.Re: Summit RV stainless trim on AllureI have used Summit for several years purchasing their stainless step convers on two coaches. On my 2011 42 Tour, Summit makes the stainless trim on the bottom sides of the coach for Winnie which is very similar to what you might be looking at. All I can offer to you is they are a great company, great product with superior grade stainless and excellent support. I highly recommend them and I don't think you will be disappointed with the looks or the quality. Go for it.Re: Trouble Free Motorhome Owner?I have owned a 3 Winnies, all DP. 1999 bought used. Other than replacing a heater core it was trouble free. Nothing. Bought a 2006 Winnie Meridian and just sold it with no problems at all except replaced a fresh water pump (Shurflo). It was the best I have owned so far. Just purchased a 42QD Tour so, to early to tell. All were garaged which I believe makes a big difference. All had or have Cummins engines. Hope that helps.
