It comes with it's own monitor and I am glad it does since I want to be able to see as I am driving also, not just backing up. And I can still use my nav while travelling. MikeRe: Wireless Back-up Camera RecommendationsI have a voyager also and it works great with my 35' trailer. The signal is usually 2 out of 3 bars MikeRe: Shopping for used 5er, comparing used Artic Fox and Komfortbluebeard, The only problem with our A/F 245N trailer was the bath room was a little small. So one small thing we did was to put up a curtain rod and curtain just at the top of the stairs. one of the spring loaded types. that way we could open the bathroom door and change in front of the wardrobe area in private. we owned our for 10 years with no problems. MikeRe: underbelly storageI put up a peg board against the carpet wall, then I can hang fishing poles, my tackle bag, extension cords, or anything else that can hang out of the way. I sandwiched the aluminum joists on the ceiling with 1 x 2's and attached the peg board to them. MikeRe: Landing Gear Lights Turn On By Themselvesjust so you know, I have power to my front landing legs with my 12 volt on/off switch in the off position, but I haven't tried my front lights. MikeRe: Vancouver/Victoria, BC 5er travelPangaea, I never heard of that before, where did you get the info on 50% off? Thanks MikeRe: switching from tent camping to 5th wheelwhen I went from tent trailers to 5ers I went with Artic Fox/Nash and I looked at their smaller trailers, I thought the 23 foot trailer was too small, I didn't like to crawl into bed, so we purchased the 245n which was the next size up, it's a great size for a couple. we pulled it with a 2500 6.0 engine. MikeRe: convert 50 amps to 30 ampsI am not sure why you all are having problems. My first 5er had 30 amps and I ran the a/c and microwave and anything else I wanted and it was fine. Now with a larger trailer with 50 amps, I still run anything I want with no problems on 30 amp. The thing to be aware of is if a trailer has 2 a/c's. MY 5er has 50 amps only due to the fact that it is setup for a washer and dryer, but since I don't have them installed it's not a problem.Re: problems with fridgethanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out in the a.m.problems with fridgeI had some fiberglass work done on the back of my 5er that happened to be right next to the fridge. since I got it back, I tried using the fridge with propane and I can hear it light, but then it would go out. This happened all three times I tried it. It works fine with electricity so we were fine for our trip. what should I look at - or do to fix this? Thanks Mike
