What year is your Pontiac?Re: Question on Membership CGPassport America is a 50% discount club. Other options are Harvest Hosts which offer free parking at wineries, farms, golf courses etc. Another good club is Boondockers Welcome where RV'ers offer parking at the homes and properties. Good Sam offers a discount to members at their associated parks as well.Re: Disconnecting dolly and vehicleThat is a it depends question. If there is room on the street in front of where you are parking, then I would unhook there. That gives you a space to put the dolly once the car is off. If the streets are not wide enough there is usually room at the office / registration center to unhook. It is only not good to back up with the car on the dolly. Once the car is off you can back up with the dolly attached to the motorhome. Have safe travels.Re: Which Route is Best 93 or 95We like to take I84 and cut off on Hwy 30 along the snake river, but it looks like 95 cuts off before that. We will try the 95 and then cut over to 395 into California. We like the scenic routes best. Life is too short to be in a hurry. ThanksWhich Route is Best 93 or 95We are planning a trip from Kelowna, BC to Palm Springs at the end of March and we like to go down through Idaho and then use 93 or 95? Which route would be the best one to take to Palm Springs?Re: Sure sign Spring is on the way!Now that is my kind of tree!! Where would I get one?Re: Canada in AugustWelcome to Canada. British Columbia is a beautiful province. If you are staying in Bothell, WA then the quickest route to Canada is I5. Vancouver has lots to see and do. 4 hours to the east via Hwy 1 and Hwy 5/97C puts you in the Okanagan. Osoyoos to Vernon is one of the nicest drives in the province. Wine tours are big in the Okanagan and then do a circle route to Kamloops and back down the fraser canyon Hwy 1 to Vancouver. You can fill 4 days easily on this route. Have fun!!Re: Tail lights & sidemarkers are out...brake lights work.Just a dumb question on my part, but have you checked the obvious? Bulbs?Re: Niagara FallsWe did the falls area in 3 days so you should be fine with 4.Re: Running Fridge while travelingThis a discussion that keeps coming up a lot. In the old days the fridges used to be three way. LP, A/C and 12V, now for some reason the fridges are only two way LP and A/C power. Why they dropped the 12V I have no idea as we used to travel with the fridge on 12 volt with no problems at all. Now we do travel with the fridge on propane, but when fueling we always shut the fridge off. If you are in a gas station and the fridge lights up, if there was enough vapour at the fridge venting it could spark a fire. My train of thought is the fridge does not know if you are driving down the road or sitting in a campsite with a 60MPH wind blowing over the vents of the fridge. Happy travels and cold drinks!!
