Excellent advice. Changing oil and filter ahead of schedule will avoid most problems. Consider also the high-mileage oils once your rig hits that plateau.Re: What Brand Oil Filter For V 10You can't go wrong with Fram.Re: E-ZPass on an RV with and without Toad AJMom wrote: We looked into this in NJ last year, but were told that we could not get an EZPass for our 29' Class C due to weight and dual rear tires, but YMMV. Here's a link to the NJ info: Clicky Virginia, I believe, will issue an EZPass for Class C RV with dual wheels.Re: 5Star Tuning sch911 wrote: What are you expecting to gain from this "tune"? MPG? - No... Power - Marginal at best... For me staying stock is the safest way to go. Downshifting is a required operation for any V10 MH. The engines and transmissions are solid and the shifts don't concern me one bit. Not mileage. From what I've read, that improvement is going to be 10% -- so less than 1 mpg. So more of a performance improvement, I guess -- better shifting, etc. Would be interested in hearing more about your comment "Power? -- Marginal at best." Anything more specific about that?5Star TuningI am thinking of buying an engine tune from 5Star Tuning -- the 87 Octane RV Daily/Tow for my 31-foot 2004 Itasca Spirit with a Ford V-10. My research, both here and elsewhere, has found a lot -- a LOT -- of satisfied customers. I'm really close to ordering ... *this close.* But I'm wondering if anyone regrets their purchase. I can't find anyone badmouthing the product ... not a single negative comment ... and I find that pretty incredible. Almost too good to be true. Does anyone have anything *bad* to say about 5Star Tuning? Or have anything else to contribute that would help in a purchase decision?
