My trailer gross weight is 7,700# and outside of "as heavy as possible" what size do I need. Is there a rule of thumb of how heavy chain/cable would be required? Thanks in advance, JonFaux interioer wood finish optionsOur trailer (2005 zinger 27rls)is starting to show its age. Some of the (pressed)wood on the cabinets is simply a faux woodgrain sticker. There are a few scrape and rub marks that I would like to take care of. Has anyone repaired this themselves with any degree of success? Thanks in advance, Jonmodifty stove w/ignitorHas anyone bought a generic spark generator for gas grills and add it to a stove to make lighting easier? Seems you could drill a small hole in the front panel and wire it from underneath. A 6 wire ignitor off amazon is less than $11 and a AA battery you could get a seasons of easy lights. I'm just concerned about mounting the spark tip and a ground source. Thanks in advance, JonWD hitch adjustmentRecently I purchased a used 12" hitch bar since my ram 1500 w/20" tires always made the trailer sit a little high in front while towing. I have an older Reese WD setup. I found a universal manual for setting it up, but I don't think I am getting it just right. I am not sure how to adjust the ball head with the 6 sided adjuster disk. Has anyone found an idiotproof manual for this style of hitch. Thanks in advance, JonRe: miceWe park out trailer most of the summer at the conservation club I belong to. It seems those mice are unstoppable. As fast as I repair the holes with gorrila tape they simply chew a new hole in the fabric. If the bottoms of trailers were more solid we wouldn't be having this conversation as often as we do.
