They built a lot of things better in the old days. I have one, and it's noisy and it stinks so I am an outcast at RV outings like Quartzsite but when the old Dynasty dies I might make myself a home emergency generator from my DKD.Re: Need large truck tire shop in Wichita, KsTCIRe: Crock pot cooking while traveling?Crock Pot => Crackpot. All you need is aluminum foil, salt, pepper, and an exhaust manifold. I have a paperback book (Manifold Destiny) chock full of recipes for low and slow motorhome cooking, whether it is last night's Lasagna or today's roadkill. Turn the generator off so you can talk to each other about the romantic feast that's being prepared especially for you by that Cummins C Series back aft.Re: Ball joint Dust boot cover on Spartan chassis.Great idea. Do you have pictures for us slow learners?Tusayan-Durango-Wheat Ridge, Road OK for Class AMy family has a trip planned this month using Hwy 160 and Hwy 285 thru Colo. Thanks.Re: Best roads between Palm Springs CA and Prescott AZIf you take 89, you'll never opt to repeat that mistake. It was a nightmare.Re: On the ROAD - to recovery that is....Dennis, you are a great guy and have been a lot of help to me personally. I wish you a safe and speedy recovery. I know of a guy, a skier, who has had 8 knee surgeries. Things could be worse.Re: Had my first break down yesterdayJust replaced my engine fuel filters today. It's been over 4 years and they likely could have gone much longer. If they were like the air filter with a visual indication we probably wouldn't change them nearly as often.
