Thanks again everyone for your input.Re: Charging Problems Freedom 458 Inverter/ChargerPut in new batteries last year when I purchased the RV. Thought it was just time to replace... now I wished I checked them first. Most likely they didn't need replaced at all...Re: Charging Problems Freedom 458 Inverter/Charger Tom/Barb wrote: gb71631 wrote: The control panel inside the RV shows everything to be working correctly and charging. The voltage that comes out of the inverter charger matches the inside too, but the battery voltage at the batteries don't. There has to be something in between causing the loss. Remember, the battery voltage will not read the same as the charging voltage until the batteries are fully charged. Checked the fuse the typical way with a continuity meter.Re: Charging Problems Freedom 458 Inverter/Charger Tom/Barb wrote: enblethen wrote: Don't get confused about the fuse. It is not a small automotive. it could look like this. Fuse Our's looks like THIS Mine looks like the eBay link too. Just got back from checking it as it's right above the inverter and it checked OK. I have a 2006 Gulfstream Friendship G7 with a Freedom 458 Inverter/Charger that's not charging the batteries. I have went through all of the diagnostic manuals and everything has passed including the resistance if the 1/4 amp fuse was blown. I have checked the voltage coming out and it's exactly what it's supposed to be, but still not charging batteries. I can unplug the shore power and plug in a charger to the batteries and they will charge OK with no problems...? Any Ideas.....?
