Mine are generic like Slide 1, Slide 2 and so forth. We have 3 slides and they are in no sensible order and so not match the wall mount control numbers. I’d like to relabel the lights and groups within the app and can’t figure this out either. I’ve got the latest update to the app. Thanks in advance for any help.RV Manufacturer’sIn light of the current national emergency and closures across the country, does anyone know if the RV manufactures have stopped or slowed down production? Just heard the auto industry may shutdown for a period of time, Scary times for everyone.Turning Point Pin Box questionsThinking of going to a FW after years TT experience. The unit we’re looking at has a Lippert Turning Point pin box and I’m looking for recommendations on a hitch that will work with this setup. The FW is just under 9 K lbs and 34 feet long. My TV is a 2016 Chevy 2500HD gas 6.0. The truck does not have the factory puck system. I would like an under bed rail installation allowing the bed no obstructions when hitch is removed. Can anyone recommend a hitch ? I’m planning to visit my local truck accessories center for the hitch and rails installation. I understand the Turning Point can be locked out to be more like a conventional pin box but I’d like to know before buying the wrong hitch if that’s the best way to go or just get the right hitch that works with the Turning Point from the start. Thanks in advanceRe: Fifth Wheel PrepThanks for all the great input and suggestions.Fifth Wheel PrepDoes anyone know if my 2016 Chevy 2500HD gas 6.0 would have the fifth wheel prep already installed? I’m thinking it does not because there are no puck covers in the bed. We’ve been TT people for years and are looking at a smaller (8500K) FW and we’re trying to learn more about what’s needed before we buy. I’ve done some research and need to stop at my local truck accessory shop and see what they say. I’d like an under bed installation with no rails in the bed. Anyone with this truck towing a FW that can give some input would be great. Thanks in advanceMPEG 4 Chipset TV QuestionsI don’t know much about this subject and thought I would ask some questions here. We have a travel trailer setup for the remainder of the football season near Sate College PA and the campground owner tells us his cable tv provider switched to an MPEG 4 technology and that is why our TV’s are only getting some of the channels we previously received at this same campground on the same 3 TV’s we had last year that are not that old, We have scanned and rescanned each TV several times with different results of found channels on each one and some channels saying audio only. The campground owner suggested replacing the TV’s. We do not have a problem with this but finding one that is MPEG 4 chipset seems confusing. Looking at specs of various 32 to 49 inch TV’s and do not see it specifically saying MPEG 4 chipset. Anyone have suggestions, input or recommendations on a TV or different solution that would work ? Thanks in advanceToilet ShimsAnyone ever use residential toilet shims in an RV to fix a rocking toilet? It’s a porcelain toilet in a 3 year old travel trailer. Flange is new and mounted with additional screws into the floor and flange bolts are tight. It just rocked and fearful it will break the flange bolts. Any suggestions welcome. TIARe: Outside Kitchen Gas Strut SupportsThanks for the input and suggestions I’ve decided to order 80 lbs struts instead of the 100 lbs ones. I’m thinking the original we’re not good quality and weakened, the TT is only 2 years old but I know these struts can leak. My hope is the stronger ones will last longer and hold up under light winds. It’s a big door 4 X 5 feet Thanks againOutside Kitchen Gas Strut SupportsI need to replace the 2 gas struts on the large outside kitchen door, The OEM is rated at 60 lbs each cylinder. I’m thinking of going up to ones rated higher possibly 100 lbs each. Can anyone give me some experience or insight into replacing these gas strut supports ? Should I stay with 60 lbs? Looking for a source too, I’ve found several on Amazon that seem to match the physical size of the OEM and have the 10 MM ball mount. Tips suggestions welcome. TIA2 1/2 Inch Receiver QuestionsRecently updated from a 2005 Silverado 2500HD with a 2 inch receiver to a new to us 2016 Silverado 2500HD that has the larger 2 1/12 inch receiver. Got the reducer adapter and adjusted hitch and all works fine. Question I’m having is about the attachment of the safety chains to the truck receiver. They are a double walled odd shaped opening and are difficult to attach the locking hook ends of the chains. I have a large carabiner to attach the emergency brake cable and that fits fine. Due to the weight rating of the chains I’d want something that matches or exceeds the rating as a link or shackle to attach the safety chains to the truck. Anyone have any suggestions? Or is this just the nature of the beast for this size receiver ? Thanks in advance
