Re: 5th wheel lifting bracket
I made bracket to remove my BW. Took a piece of steel about 2 X 5 X 1/2. Drilled a 1/2 hole in the middle installers 1/2 eye bolt to put the hook of my chain hoist in. I tried did a different method of getting bleach into the fresh water tank to sanitizing the water system after setting over the winter. I took the filter element out of the filter and pored Out a little water and filled up the bowl with bleach and put back on and turned on the water. When I thought the tank was about 2/3 full I did it again. Both times the water flowing through the filter I could not smell bleach at the filter and I could after I fill the tank and ran water through the all of the facets. I put about 1/4 tank of water before I started. I have had both single wheel and a duality , the Dually is a little more stable but a PIA for a dally driver. Most of the new single wheel pitch ups have increased the carrying capiticy to carry the pin weight of your 5th wheel. B & W is an excellent hitch, there are. 2 versions I know about one has 2 U bolts that secure the hitch to square tube and the other has the square tube made on the hitch base. These both require a turn over ball under bed mount . I have towed several thousands miles with the same 6 4 bed Ram truck with out any problems. I checked to see how close of a turn I can make on level ground and keep this in mind when making a close turn352Views0likes0Comments
