Where could I even buy one? We're planning to heat the RV as the next two days are supposed to be 95+, and we're hoing that the outside heat plus a large rented commercial heater (that goes to 140F on its own) will do the trick. We also picked up DE to sprinkle and will be wing bedding/clothing etc... although I'm not sure that's required if the entire RV is being heated already?Re: Jetpack settings help - cycling 4g, 3g, & 1x sitting still!I just realized it's snowing again.... maybe that's playing a part? It was a solid 4g for the first 20 min or so that it was hooked up today. It keeps dropping bars and speed now though and hasn't been above 3g in some time, with on and off drops to 1xRe: Jetpack settings help - cycling 4g, 3g, & 1x sitting still! 2oldman wrote: How good of a signal do you usually get there? This is new and I was using cable internet before. Verizon's data map via zipcode say I'm in 4g tho :\Jetpack settings help - cycling 4g, 3g, & 1x sitting still!Hi all, I just got a Jetpack MHS291L and Verizon data. I'm still in stick n brick (city) until FT takeoff in 4 weeks, so the jetpack is sitting still but constantly cycling from 4g to 1x and 3g. I switched it from 2.4ghz band to 5.0ghz, and changed Global to LTE/CDMA but no change with either one being switched. First, which settings are best? What's the difference on Global vs LTE/CDMA? And second, why is this cycling? Thanks in advance!Re: TT Ready, Camp, Go Value card?I'm looking at that ready camp go card as well. We aren't taking off until Feb so i'd be buying it around then. I'm also using Passport America, Escapees, and Good Sams to try them all out. What kind of blackouts are there with the RCG card?Re: Tucson/SE area in Feb - cheap, decent, kid and dog friendlyPerfect recommendations! Thank you both! 2gypsies, how does Phoenix look for boondocking 2-3 nights? We're from WI, so our idea of cold is below 0 ;) Really though, what kind of lows are we talking? And maybe we could run a generator for a bit for a space heater, if needed? We're totally cool with being a little adventurous :)Tucson/SE area in Feb - cheap, decent, kid and dog friendlyIs anything decent priced? Would love a pool for the kiddo, and would like to stay below $175 for a week. I'm probably dreaming, right? :) Basically, we're coming from southern NM into AZ, wanting o explore Tucson, Tombstone, Kartchner Caverns, then head up to Phoenix area to explore zoo, museums, whatever, then over to Albuquerque NM. Prices are insane. What's my best bet? Do some dry camping? I'm open to national/state land (have the national access pass) but kind of concerned with the wildlife aspect.Re: Directv, Sunday Ticket, and no house... possible? I've read both ways, that local nfl game blackouts are based on your current location (determined by gps), but I've also read that it goes based on your billing info zip code. Which is the case for you?Re: Why I do not depend on camground WifiThe other thing to keep in mind though.... not everyone is streaming just for entertainment. Being a homeschooling mom, I can say that 85% of my streaming (Netflix, YouTube, etc) is educational and used as part of our schooling. We watch tons of science and history shows and documentaries. I doubt I'm the only one, so blocking certain people just based on their usage could be really hindering to a lot of kids' educations. That being said, people should have common courtesy.Re: Directv, Sunday Ticket, and no house... possible?Yep, I think that's my best bet. Thanks for the help all :)
