I'll get the voltmeter out.Electric hot water heater not workingI typically keep my electric water heater on while camping so I can have hot water whenever it is needed. Today mid-day I went to wash some dishes off in the sink and the water was not warm. The switch on the control panel is lit still. I checked the fuse panel and none were blown. Gas water heater still works, so I am using it now. Would like some trouble shooting tips on diagnosing the issue on the electrical heater. Camper is still under warranty, but I would like to avoid another trip to the dealer and being without my rig for another 6-8 weeks while they sit on it, if possible.Re: Goodyear EnduranceWhat LTs you get? My TT has a max weight of ~8500#, so I think I should be fine with the Goodyear STs.Goodyear EnduranceLooking to replace the tires that came on my TT with a set of Goodyears. All the blowout horror stories have me thinking to go ahead and swap now, even though it's only a year old. I should be able to get a few bucks back selling the original rubber on Craigslist. My question is; do they often run rebate offers? I know they just had one end in July...hate I missed it. Will try to catch a set on the next go-around if one comes up before next Spring. ThanksRe: Satellite Hook-upRan into an issue. Looks like I have a non-SWM LNB(SL3K4NR0-01). It has two coax cables and a third smaller wire coming off of it, so my plan outlined above will not work. Should I scrap the Power inserter for a B-Band converter? Do both coax plug into the receiver or do I only need one? I am fine with only getting SD channels if it will be easier/more simple. Should I try to find an 18" round dish instead of the slimline I have?Re: Satellite Hook-upI may run the coax through a window first(from the dish to the PI), to ensure it works, then try running it through the internal wiring. The setup would be: Dish->PI->Receiver->TVSatellite Hook-upNewbie attempting a Directv Sat hookup on my Travel Trailer(2016 Starcraft 289BHS). I will outline my plan(Excluding the initial sat alignment procedure); please tell me if this will/should work, or if I am missing anything. Step: 1)With coax, connect the dish to the Sat/Cable input on the outside of my TT. 2)Inside the camper, at the "SAT" output under the entertainment center by the antenna booster and cable output, connect coax to the Directv Power Inserter("Power to SWiM" port) 3) Coax connect from PI side "Signal to IRD" coax to Sat1 on the back of my receiver(H24-700 box) 4)HDMI from H24 receiver to my TV I already have the dish and my H24 box from my spare bedroom at home; confirming all I will need to purchase is a Power Inserter. I shouldn't need any splitters, barrel nuts, etc. Correct? SWM setup at home, so I shouldn't need to reprogram any settings on the box, correct? Will the above outlined setup allow HD access? ThanksRe: Connect DTV H24 to 18" round dishIs there a "wiki" page(or thread) for a basic (SD) RV satellite setup? I have a H24-700 Directv box I will be using for the camper. It is out of a spare bedroom that never gets used, so once it is setup for the camper, I don't plan on changing settings. I am currently hunting(Craigslist, FB, etc) for a free dish to use with it at the camper. I gather I should be looking for just an 18" round, correct? Do I need a slimline? What's the cheapest place to get a tripod for it, once attained? Been researching this and am lost amongst the various acronyms and what gear is/is not required for SD vs. HD. Along with my H24 box, what is the necessary required equipment I will need and how do I go about initial box setup for the dish and then getting it setup and aligned with a signal at the campsite. I plan to do a dry run in the backyard before I attempt at a campground. Thanks for the help!Re: TV Mount on outside of TrailerAnyone know where to buy Kebloc tv mounts from L&W engineering? I have emailed them, but no response.Re: LCI Solera vs Dometic 9100 power awningThanks for the input.
