Manual TV Antenna
I have a 2006 Jayco Desiner 5th wheel that Iam getting ready to sale. Iam ashamed to admit that I don't know how to use the manual antenna that came with the RV. I have always stayed at campgrounds that had cable hook-ups. I checked under the TV looking for a switch to move between cable and Antenna and found none. Anyone have this older model to help on the location of the switch or will it automatic switch or would you control by TV remote? I know how to operate the antenna up and down. Dobbe, You didn't say why you wanted to remove TV? Out of my on experence you would be better to keep what you have. I got locked into a campground that had switched to HD and I had a old TV that required a box to get reception. Long story short-I took the TV out. The factory puts a TV in then fits a cabinet around it. I got a new TV but a large cabinet hole that does not fit the looks of the RV. Please give your thoughts, or the the best financial and safe move for the future. I have a 2005 Ford 3500HD 6.Ol Deisal truck that I pull a 34 ft. Jayco 5th. wheel. Iam aware of the problems with my truck and the more I read the sicker I get. At this point-98K miles-no problems. Based on 2 estimates Iam looking at 6K to 10K to fix the problems before they happen. What is best-trade or fix? If I trade Iam going to a Dodge Diesal.
