Is there anything I should keep my eye on before we pull it off the lot or any cool tips and tricks? Happy camping!!Re: Toilet and hot water pressure help. Thanks to all who replied! Much appreciated! Just got the new valve today so here’s to hoping it works!Re: Toilet and hot water pressure help. Lynnmor wrote: Replacing the valve on the toilet will fix it. I would connect a hose to the supply line before connecting to the new valve and run the water full blast to flush the line. You may have the winterizing valve on the water heater not fully open. If there are check valves in either the inlet or outlet of the water heater, they may be jammed with debris. I did try taking the check valve off on the outlet side but it was being a bugger to get loose and I didn’t have all the proper tools with me. Should I just replace the check valve totally?Re: Toilet and hot water pressure help.Where and Why do these plastic shavings come from? We have had our camper for 4 years and this is the first time it’s ever happened.Toilet and hot water pressure help.Hello all, I have a Donetic toilet model 310. After it gets flushed, it will slowly dribble water and within a few hours we have a bowl full of water. After doing some digging, I noticed the valve would drip water, and the flushing pressure was next to nothing. So I took the water line off where it connects to the valve and it was plugged up with plastic shavings. Cleaned out the plastic shavings and the flushing pressure was restored to proper working order. Would a simple valve replacement solve my problem of the water filling up the bowl? As for the hot water pressure. We hooked up and noticed the cold water pressure was significantly more than the hot. When we turn the hot on the water pressure is super low. Almost like it’s only open a 1/4 of the way. We checked all faucets all with the same result. Cold has plenty of pressure, and the hot, not so much. Any input would be greatly appreciated!Re: Coachman CatalinasThanks all. We found a unit but it looks like it has some peeling in the front end. Looks more cosmetic than structure. It looks like a clear coat peeled. Is it fixable or would the front end need replaced? I will try to attach pictures when I get to my computer.Coachman CatalinasLooking in to getting a coachman Catalina. Does anyone have one? What are the pros and cons? I want to do as much research as I can and want some first hand testimonials. Thanks all!!Re: Black holding tank censorsThank you all so much for the advice. I'm going to try dumping a few gallons of water in with some dawn soap to see how it reacts.Black holding tank censorsDoes anyone out there have any tips to help my black tank censors read more accurate? I can empty it out totally and the gauge still reads that it's full. Its driving me nuts that I dont have an accurate read, and makes it difficult to gauge when it's full.Re: Disclosure when sellingI have always been honest and upfront with whatever issues or defects my camper had when trying to sell it. In fact I've given the person my personal cell phone number just in case they had any additional questions or needed help with anything. I've personally been ripped off before, and my wife and I personally refuse to ever put anyone else through that. Honesty is the best policy! :-)
