Making progress slowly now that the weather allows for working outside again.Re: Wow! I'm learning a lot.I'll be getting some tomorrowRe: Wow! I'm learning a lot. Looks great on the outsideRe: Wow! I'm learning a lot.So I thought I'd found info on how to post pictures, but can't find it again. Any suggestions on the easiest way to share picturesRe: Wow! I'm learning a lot.Cool, new to camper life and forums. Can I move this?Re: toilet and black water tank and exhaust pipe removalSo I see a small air inlet under the sink. Is this enough, so that I could remove the vent stack. I will be removing or sealing off the black water tank.Wow! I'm learning a lot.So, I'm pretty much in over my head. But, I will continue. Way more water damage than I could have imagined. I'm replacing supports and have had to lift the rear end because it sagged due to the rotten wood. Lots of staples coming out, thinking of using metal tape on inside to help reinforce where they have been removed(aka-fallen out). Most of the floor is getting replaced. I'll try to get some pictures up. I read about vapor barriers. Thinking I should do this, lots of little holes in the old floor membrane. Can I put plastic on the rubber floor membrane then add Floor joists and foam board insulation or should plastic go on top of floor joists? Does this make sense? And another question? I believe that there is mold on some wood that is still strong. Do I just spray with bleach water and that will kill it, or should I do more extensive cleaning. I really want to keep some of these boards because a lot has come out already. BTW, I am handy but not professional tradesman.Re: Camper Repair-Big RebuildHas anyone used the Seal-tite corner seam tape. It sounds great, mainly because it will hold the siding together at the seam while reinstalling the corner molding.Re: Camper Repair-Big RebuildSo the camper is drying out. I will be replacing wood around the top and bottom corners, and a significant part of the floor. I will be cleaning and sealing the seams on the roof soon, it has been raining frequently. As I replace the wood inside along the seam I need to cut off old rusted staples and screws so it fits flush. However I want the seam to stay tight. I'm trying to figure out the best method for this. Should this be a two step process- replace screws as i install wood, then after inside is put back together and camper is structurally strong again I can remove the corner seam cover and staple and caulk and re screw. Or just replace screws and caulk the edges of the corner seam cover.Re: Camper Repair-Big Rebuilddone.
