Amazes me how little known this is.Re: Small gas tank beefLooked into replacing my Duramax's 26 gal tank when it was new, but quickly realized my bladder didn't last as long as the tank. What really made the decision for me was that after market stuff so often develops problems that seem to happen at the worst of times.Re: SCUBA tanks for filling RV tires?Check out CO2 bottles; have been using that for 10+ yrs. CO2 gives you more volume than other gases because it is liquid in the bottle and converts to gas as you inject it into the tire. I have 2; they are about 18" tall and 6" diameter. I refill one about every 2 or 3 years at local welding supply. I keep them in the truck box; CO2 is not poisonous, but it could suffocate you in an enclosed space.Re: Will Pharmacias in Progresso Nuevo Give Pencillin Shots?Yes, I know colds are caused by rhinovirus. The bacterial infections begin after a few days, this is what kills you (pneumonia),some more subject than others. The reason antibiotics are becoming ineffective mostly the livestock industry is permitted to feed antibiotics in animal feed, on the chance they might get sick; I understand this in more than 90% of the problem. The other problem is no new antibiotics, not enough research. Ask a simple question, not answered BTW, and a bunch of nervous nellies spouting off what they do not know. thanks for nothing, guys. Will Pharmacias in Progresso Nuevo Give Pencillin Shots? In my old age, I seem to catch every cold going around and with side effects, they last a month. Had so many I know the drill; penicillin shot after about 5 days onset, then Amoxycillin for 10 days. I prefer the shot plus azithromax, but docs in the USA seem to prefer Amoxycillin and frequently want to skip the shot. Just wondering if I can custom design my treatment in Progresso.Re: Removing air bed from Winnebago Adventurer 38QYes, as we get older, our preferences seem to crystallize. I almost regret going to air mattresses as we can no longer sleep on normal mattresses. Feels like lying on concrete to us! It takes away our option to use hotels/motels. We just can't sleep there.Re: Removing air bed from Winnebago Adventurer 38QWe have been sleeping on Select Comfort, home & RV, for nearly 20 yrs and love them. However, to your question; the beds are basically air bags, so there should be a hole in the plywood forming the bottom of the bed --- to let the air hose in. The air hose is probably clear plastic and is clamped to a spiggot on the air bag; the hose looks to be around 1/2"OD. Once unclamped, the hose can be pulled back down to where the compressor is. The compressor is probably in the cavity below the bed, or perhaps in the belly of the trailer somewhere. Find the compressor, it is probably an oval around a foot long, 9" wide and 5" high, depending on your make & mdl. Pull the hose down thru the holes to the compressor area. The compressor will be plugged into 110 volt electricity. Unplug it and remove the compressor, hose, etc. The bed (airbags & all) can be removed and discarded. Slap your new mattress on and done!Re: 2wd or 4wd for towingBeen using 4wd for about 20 years now. Never go offroad, intentionally. Use it maybe 2 -3 times per year. But it has saved me from calling a tow truck, probably 5 times or so, to get out of mud holes, etc. That alone has probably paid for the exta cost. It gives me peace of mind. You get some of the cost back on tradein.Re: Any of you ever use a 5th Wheel Dolly like this?Have been wishing for something like this. I have to back around a corner and up about a 20 degree sloped driveway into a level RV shed. Hard to do, for me, but I bet that dolly could not handle the 20 degree slope and trying to control the 14000 pounds of weight. Probably the RV would end up in my neighbors house.Re: Portable air compressors?Get a CO2 bottle.
