Reading the OEM...what a novel idea!Re: New Trailer with 50 amp service?I'm looking at the HUGHES Autotransformer. It looks like I'll now need two adapters to use it.New Trailer with 50 amp service? Our new (brand new) trailer has 50a service. We want to stop for a couple of nights on the way home from the dealer and the state park has only 30a spots. I think I can just use an adapter and only run one of the A/C units. Is this a correct assumption?Re: Dutchmen Endurance 3556?This is interesting...211 views and no comments. Is there anyone from DUTCHMEN or their parent company THOR INDUSTRIES that can answer this question?Dutchmen Endurance 3556?The floor plan of the 3556 fits the criteria for our next toy hauler. I would like to see how it's made but the factory tour videos on u tube show only travel trailer construction. Does anyone know how well the frames, floors, roof and sidewalls are made. Any videos out there would be helpful. Are their sidewalls wood or welded aluminum?Re: Is A/C on GFCI circuitThanks ALL! It was the breaker on the GenSet. :SRe: Is A/C on GFCI circuit George3037 wrote: Are you sure you didn't trip the breaker on the generator? If you have no power to the GFI the test and reset buttons may not work without power. My A/C is on a 20A breaker but on a small generator (say a 2200W gen) its the only thing I can run. If I add more load like a compressor, microwave, large fan etc. it will trip the genny breaker. I recently sold my small genny and now have a 3500W Predator or a 4750W Champion that will run everything. I thought about this possibility after I parked it back in storage and came home. I'll pull it out tomorrow and check this. ThanksIs A/C on GFCI circuitI was running on my generator when I tried to plug a small air compressor into the outlet in my exterior storage bay. When I did, the compressor started for a milli-second and didn't run any more. All the breakers appeared to be OK, but I re-set them any way. When I went inside I noticed the A/C was off. It had been on and running fine a few minutes earlier. I checked the GFCI plug by the sink and it would not trip or re-set. I'll change the GFCI plug tomorrow but my question is...would the A/C be on the GFCI circuit?Re: ONAN runs, stops, starts againThanks, everyone for the help, advice and a little humor thrown in. It was the fuel pump ($59)Re: ONAN runs, stops, starts again marcsbigfoot20b27 wrote: You should not run the gen with the generator panel open for more than a few minutes. Air cooling won’t work correctly. Just for the record only the trailer access door was open, not the GenSet service door.
