Is there an easier way back to 35 north of town than straight through?Re: gas mileageGeeze guys, I didn't intend to ruin anyone's day with my question. I have been in fifth wheels since 2000 and was just comparing. As for the afford it question, I learned growing up broke back in the fifties and sixties to ask the price of a hamburger. fortunately these days there are not many rigs out there that I couldn't AFFORD but I still ask the price of a hamburger and probably always will. Thanks all.Re: gas mileageI probably gave too little info. in my gas mileage post. I am basically interested in smaller gas class A (Ford). I have done this in various rigs for near forty years, but last motorhome was in 2000, so I am aware of the age old adage " if you have to ask you probably can't afford it" Our wants and needs are different now and just looking for currant info. Thanks.gas mileageLooking for gas mileage experiences with 30' -- 32' class A motorhomes with and without toads. Thanks.Re: getting trapped inside a parkSo far I have found that if I could get in, I could get out, but not always easy. Several years ago I pulled in just before dark, to a campground in Nebraska. After a long day I was tired and ready roost for the night. The manager said he would go get the golf cart and for me to follow him when he came back by. Shortly after, a golf cart came zooming by and I tried to fall in behind. The road soon turned into a pig trail and the cart disappeared. It took some really heavy back and forward to get the rig turned around. I was pretty hot when I got back to find the manager standing in the road. Before I could say a word. he said " those **** kids stole my golf cart again " All I could do was to laugh.Re: Water heater leaking from side or bottom?if it is a Suburban, be sure and check the plastic valve between the hot and cold water line at the rear of the unit. On my older Montana you can't actually see it because of the cabinet, so you may have to feel for it. I just spent 337.00 replacing my heater for no reason. may be worth a check.Re: Keystone Outback tire wear ktmrfs wrote: we have a 2011 outback 295RE with close to 30K miles on it. never have had any unusual tire wear. With one tire bad, sounds like a bent spindle or loose bearing rather than a bent axle or overloaded axle which would wear pairs or all the tires. By any chance was the trailer ever lifted by the axle? thats the easiest way to bend an axle. It has never been lifted since purchased by owner and some of the eight months since the purchase was spent at the dealership for unrelated warranty work.Keystone Outback tire wearMy brother and his wife purchased a Keystone Outback 29.9 in sept. last year, from Holiday World in Willis TX. After eight months of ownership he discovered that the driver side rear tire had completely worn the inside half down to blowout stage. Warranty was denied by Keystone, saying that it was not covered under warranty. Holiday world says " sorry " Has anyone had similar issues with an eight month old trailer and had any positive resolution. If so how did you do it ? For sure won't be any more Keystone products or Holiday World in our family's future.Re: Inexpensive Overnight Campgrounds Near Tulsa, OKThe Keystone COE park was closed in late Oct. Looked like some const. going on. S.P. was open.Jet pack WiFiAnyone out there have any personal experience with Verizon unlimited, non contract, Jet Pack WiFi ?
