Magnum inverter/battery issue
I have a 2014 coachman cross country that we purchased 2 years ago used. This last weekend we took a trip and ran the generator all weekend. Place we were at had no hook ups. Saturday night the inside lights kept getting super dim like they had no power even with the generator running. Sunday morning started having electrical gremlins and the generator shut off. I figured it it was low on oil which it was not. I tried to start it back up and had no power. I tried to turn a light on they were dead to. I hit the override to 12 volt and fired up no problem. Airs turned on had inside lights. Went to take a shower- we have a tankless unit and as soon as that went to heat up killed the generator again. I turned water heater off and restarted generator again with the over ride and looked at the inventor panel and it’s faulted bad battery. I just replaced the house batteries tonight and the battery temperature sensor is melted. I know it needs to be replaced. Already found on line but will be checking the 2 local Rv dealers tomorrow if that have it. Question the inverter panel is faulted for battery I see which I assume is from the melted sensor. Will the electrical system function okay without the sensor till I get the new one ? Do you have to reset the system after the house batteries are replaced ? Roof ac fan issue
Last summer had the blower motor seized up. I bought a new blower exact 3 speed blower same company and part number. Installed it and blower has 1 speed. I tried moving the wires around thinking maybe motor was wired incorrect accounting to their diagram. I just bought a new Capitor thinking maybe that got burnt out when motor seized up. Same thing 1 speed. Any ideas ? This is a dometic a/c roof top unit on a 15 coachman sport coach. Thanks in advance1.9KViews0likes6CommentsRe: Water pressure issue
I changed the main water filter in the water fill compartment. It is definitely holding psi. As soon as I twisted the filter off it shot pressurized water out. No other filter i see under any of the sinks. This water issue is in every sink and the shower. I have a spare water pump from last rv it’s the same pump I was thinking of changing that tonight to see if it’s the same. I am not hooked up to city water and running the pump at the same Time I did fill the water tank full yesterday as well so I know that’s at the top of the tank. I’m calling coachman. There are a few valves in the water compartment that I’m not sure what they are for yet. I figured out the drains on the system.433Views0likes0CommentsWater pressure issue
Purchased my second class a pusher over the weekend. Have had another class a for 8 years so not new to rv’ing. Question for you all. This new one the water when going through the water seems to constantly have air in the line after I run the faucet or shower water for about 20 seconds or more. Water starts out strong then starts to sputter. I changed the water filter today and no change. To me seems like a lot of air still in system. I hooked up city water and ran the air out of system that way but as soon as I turn it off and turn water pump back on does same thing. Any thoughts other than there is more air in the system. Rv was in dealer inventory for 2 months before I purchased. Rv is a 2014 coachmen cross country sport Coach.1.8KViews0likes9Comments
