What you are having is called delayed ingnition and can cause you to lose your eyebrows :) Good Luck Thanks will do, eyebrows are good I hide from it :-)surburban sw6p water heaterI have a sw6p water heater that I'm having some issues out of, what is happening is I light the pilot which works fine then move to the on position where sometimes it fires in a few seconds and runs fine but the issues I'm having is at times it takes around 10 seconds to fire which causes a build up of gas which causes it to shoot a large flame which blows the pilot out, what is causing this?
