Sounds like the next step. Thanks! No power to radio/dvd playerWe have a Linear Series AM/FM/DVD unit that came with our rv. It worked fine for years. This last trip it had no power. We pulled it out to see if any cords have come out and everything looks good. Does anyone have some suggestions?Re: Cheesy Meatball Parmesan SoupSounds delicious, but too many steps for my poor cooking skills! :WRe: My A/C went outThis might be too simple, but have you cleaned or changed your filter? That can cause lots of problems.Re: rv camping in Canada, different than camping in the US?Here are a couple of things we noticed on our visit that I don't think have been mention before (these are our observations and may not reflect all areas of Canada): Make sure to have a different credit card if you are used to using Discover. We were in the Canada in 2013 and couldn't find a single place that would take the Discover Card. I don't know if this is the norm, but we found that even some commercial campgrounds will charge for the use of their showers. We were OK, but traveling with 5 people in our RV we liked the option of using campground showers sometimes.Replacing sofaWe have an fold-out air mattress sofa bed. The air mattress never stayed up and we don't use or need to use that sofa as a bed. The sofa is not really comfortable and the fake leather looks awful! I would really love to replace the sofa with a new one. Is it possible to replace a motorhome sofa with one from a regular furniture store? I know the seatbelts are mounted in the floor. If I could find a sofa that we can attach to the floor and a way to run the seatbelts through, would it work? Has anyone done this before?Re: What do you do with the grill grease? mowin wrote: magnusfide wrote: bdpreece wrote: line the bottom with foil, roll it up and throw it away. Then wipe everything down with paper towels. Double ditto. X3. Line the grill with foil. Too easy. x4 We do this too, so easy! At the end of our stay we also clean the grill plates. We do this by filling up a large plastic storage tub with water and Dawn type dish soap. Let it soak overnight. The next day rinse it off with only some minor scrubbing. Can't do this in bear country, but otherwise it works really well for us!Cleaning AC filterWhen we wash our AC filter and it dries there appears to be lint still stuck in it. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong and/or how to get rid of it?Re: Halloween camping in Texas.I have heard good reports about camped during Halloween at Guadalupe River State Park and Hill Country Jellystone.Re: Removing Top Bunk BedWe also have a bunk model, but still need the bunks for now. In the future we know we will want to remove the bunks and make an office space. Checkout this link I have bookmarked for future reference. This couple removed their bunks and converted it to an office. Maybe their video will help you.
