Toyhauler and dry camping go hand-in-hand as most good off-roading areas don't have hook-ups. I don't need solar. Put gas in the tank and use the generator. Fast, simple and uncomplicated. Never a problem save for a carb clean now and then. This assumes your not full timing.Re: 2006 Rage’n Toy HaulerDid you look at the fuse/breaker panel? Check genny outlet for voltage near where the cord is stored.Re: If you could own any brand of toy hauler…Not a fan of snow so a 3 season is good for us. I like the ATC all aluminum toyhaulers. We almost bought the 28' front bedroom. They are quite stout. I like that you could hose them out on the inside. We also came very close to a loaded Winnebago view and a double axle cargo trailer for the toys but this setup was just too long. In the end, we decided to do some much needed work on old reliable and use it for a few more years. Here is what I learned; Maintenance. Without constant maintenance these RV's have a short lifespan. I also learned that Chinese tires are not that bad if you take care of them. I'm on my 5th set in 15 years. I had one blow out on the original Carlisle but other than that...Re: I need a new fuel tank 60x19x7Guess I got lucky, the tank doesn't seem to be bad. I removed the tank, hoses, mount and pump. I cleaned the inside with SuperClean and removed the fittings. The parts that dissolved were the two fuel pickup tubes, they were shredded like angel hair pasta. this is what they looked like, mine are gone but this guy had the same issue; Skip to 1:18 for the tube youtube link I rebuilt the pump with new gears and seals though it was working fine: [/img] This is a pic of the clean tank; [/img] and painted the rusting metal mounting frame. All of the hoses were very brittle, this was a fairly large expense as I bought ethanol proof hoses. Waiting on the Husky UL listed fuel hose.Re: I need a new fuel tank 60x19x7Fyi, if you need a fuel tank. This company Has an almost perfect metal tank to replace my old one.... This might help other folks...Re: Thor Wanderer Wagon 287WTB info neededYou can also use the wayback machine, http://web.archive.org and search on www.thorca.com it will list years/months that were saved, click on an active year/month for your unit. here is a sample link: here one other thing, on the inside of my under-sink door I also have a weight placard. I need a new fuel tank 60x19x7Long time for me not posting, I hope everyone is doing okay. Can someone point me to a gas tank provider? The fuel station/generator tank on my Transport is disintegrating. One of the folks I talked to couldn't believe it has a plastic tank, said he never saw one in a TH.
