Weird, I wonder what they did with all that space? I think I'm going to pull the trigger anyway because the 2016 gray tank holds 24 gallons which is a big plus for me. I have a crew cab so I can put the Honda in there. Added strangeness - the 2015 grey tank is only 11 gallons. Lance is weird. Thanks again for getting the measurements for me!Re: Will A Honda EU2000i Fit?-Big External Cabinet In Lance 825? That's weird, it fit fine in my 2007 845 in the back compartment.Re: Will A Honda EU2000i Fit?-Big External Cabinet In Lance 825? ramses355 wrote: I have a 1st year 2007 825. If you're talking about the storage on the driver's side rear, yes my Honda 2000 fits in the upper storage bay. In fact that's what it was designed for. Yes, that's the one. Thanks for the info! Could I trouble you to measure the L&W of the opening of yours if you have the time? I'd like to compare yours to the 2016 I'm looking at. Thanks loads! VinceWill A Honda EU2000i Fit?-Big External Cabinet In Lance 825?Hi All; My Lance 845 was destroyed in a fire caused by a badly installed fridge a dealer put in and now I'm looking at a Lance 825 that's a long way away from me. I have no way to check and the measurements make the fit seem really close. Has anyone here successfully stored a Honda 2000i in the big external cabinet on a Lance 825? The camper in question is a 2016 model. TIARe: Can I Even Fit A New Fridge Into Lance 845?Thanks for everyone's help on this, I'm going to bite the bullet and have it professionally installed. At this point I'm just glad that it WILL eventually fit and that I won't have to send it back.Re: Can I Even Fit A New Fridge Into Lance 845? dave17352 wrote: I think you will have to remove the cooling unit. If you remove the door frame you will gain a little but probable not enough. I recently installed a 12 volt danfoss compressor fridge from nova kool. One of the things that was great is they had many models that would fit through the door. I had to take the cooling unit off of the fridge I was removing. I would return that fridge and go 12 volt but that's just my opinion. I really think you will have a issue with the fridge you have ordered. Only because of the fact that I have all ready been through this. Thank you for this, with the unit over 3" wider than my widest entry I think it'll be a no-go. I'm sure I'll be able to demo the old fridge with enough crowbar and hacksaw applied. I did find the Nova Kool fridges - does yours really cool well enough in 12V? Should I get a 120/12V unit? Does it auto-switch or manually switch? TIA!Re: Can I Even Fit A New Fridge Into Lance 845? ScottG wrote: Will it fit through the door with the door off? I don't have the unit yet and I don't want to unbox it if I have to return it. $1K!Can I Even Fit A New Fridge Into Lance 845?I have a new Norcold on order to replace my dead unit. Today I thought to look at the dimensions of the new fridge and for the life of me I can't see how I'll be able to get it into the camper. I knew that this could be an issue but never thought I'd be bit. The fridge is 36 9/16" x 23 11/16" x 24". The door is only a little over 20" wide, the side window is only 18" high and the roof hatch is only 24"x17". Taking thedoors off don't seem to help much due to the unremovable upper control panel. What can I do?Re: Tarp to cover camperI get a new, high quality tarp from Lowe's every couple of years. I get some snow load here and I do what some very smart member of this forum suggested and it works great! I buy three cheap 3' beachballs and slide them under the tarp along the middle of the roof then loosely tie the tarp up. The snow and rainwater flow down the sides and don't pool on the top. The beachballs are super cheap on the web. Thanks again to that smart forum member!
