If you have done the swap out please let me know the model number and make. ThanksRe: Need some help here inverter/shore power/gen powerWolfe, I used a volt meter checked at the input side from the AC power chord and I had 110 at the leg going in. The opposite side had 110 as well. The jumpers to the bottom black box were live as well. On the far right side to the box nothing. When I tested with the Gen set I had the 220 entering on the bottom black box and 220 out on the opposite side. As you mentioned I did check all the connections before I did the volt test. All of them were tight. Hope that helps. My only guess is there could be some contact problems but I'm not positive. We will see this week when the package arrives in the mail. Cajun Jeff :BRe: Need some help here inverter/shore power/gen powerI have ordered a new ESCO ES50M-65N. I am fairly certain that my problem is in that switch. I will install it when it gets here. Cajun JeffRe: Need some help here inverter/shore power/gen powerThanks guys for all your help. I have been doing many different things trying to make it work. Will let you know. I did get to where the house batteries are charging but do not have house power yet.. Will fill you in tomorrow. Cajun JeffNeed some help here inverter/shore power/gen powerThis is what I have. On the Gen. The inverter charges house batteries and I can run everything is fine. At home I connect to 110 power. Have been able to keep hours bat. charged and I could use the lights. Now the problem. Gen running, inverter/charger all works the green light turns on on the inverter showing charging. When I plug in to 110 I hear they click and hum but no green light. It looks like no power. Any suggestions? My coach is Safari/ Sahara 2002 38ft. The inverter is Freedom Combo 20. I did check the breakers in the coach. There is a circuit breaker reset on the inverter, it is not tripped. Any thoughts. Cajun JeffRe: plastic cover for step mechanismI have fixed it. Used 2 strips of heavy plastic and bolted that in aver the step box lip that had the broken sections. To reinforce that I found some long and wide zip ties. Ran he zip tie around the box on both sides. Now it is nice and secure. The only purpose of this box is as a dustcover.Re: plastic cover for step mechanismThe location where the bolt passed chipped out in all 4 spots there is no plastic to mend. I my add new plastic to both sides. I think if I can find strong plastic I could sandwich it and make it work.Re: plastic cover for step mechanismThanks for the tips. Keep them coming. Will be searching for a number on it tonight after work.plastic cover for step mechanismMy step mechanism has a black plastic cover. It was held in place by 4 bolts. The plastic box is cracked where the 4 bolts go and can't stay in place. Any Idea where I might be able to find new cover. My coach is an 02 Safari / Sahara DP. 38 ft.
