Hi, We are currently in Peyton Woods Campground in Twillingate. This is the first time we have had any WIFI in a week. We haven't seen any moose since we left the West coast of Newfoundland but we have seen 9 so far on our trip. Saw 6 icebergs so far. We have yet to see a whale. They either have just been there or they arrive right after we have left. We are planning to stay at Peyton Woods for 10 days as there is just so much to see in this area. Hi BigDaddyHfx, The Grand Codroy Campground is very nice. Sites are spacious and not too close together. The owners Dennis and Alice Keeping are really nice. The rates right now are $30/night cash only for full service, showers, etc. We would definitely stay here again and probably will on our way back. Highly recommend. Hi everyone, We are currently in Amherst,Nova Scotia at the Loch Lomond Campground. We have already seen 2 moose, one yesterday and one today. They were both females as far as I could tell. We have had rain and cold weather but today was windy and warm. It's suppose to be warm tomorrow. We are planning to stop and see Robert Herr - hopefully for a week if he has room. Well, we are finally off to Newfoundland on Monday, May 27. I would like to thank those of you who have supplied support and suggestions over the past year as we planned our trip. This is our first trip with the 5th wheel and we are both excited and nervous. I will be monitoring this site so all comments and suggestions are still greatly appreciated.
