He said, I am by no means putting down the Montana, but there are numerous 5ers there of over a hundred grand. Most have a defect or have been involved in a collision of some sort. They are all junk, including the 'multi-million dollar' rigs.Re: Flat spots on front axle tiresAre you locking up the tires when braking but not realizing it ? My trailer brakes become more sensitive as they heat up.Re: 6pt hydraulic leveling systemI was told that if you lift all 4 tires off the ground the axles would flip. Is that true ?New Flex-Air pinbox rusting... Is yours ?So a couple of months ago a rep from Lippert came to the dealer and they had a sale on Lippert products. After doing a lot of research I unfortunately purchased a new Flex-Air pinbox replacing my MORryde. The pinbox has something rusting on the inside of it, and when I move the 5ver, it spills all over the truck and hitch. I contacted the dealership and they said "Something isn't powder coated inside it and we can't do anything about it" I contacted Lippert support and they asked for pictures, and responded with "This is not a manufacturing defect and doesn't affect the integrity of the component" and has told me to hit the bricks. I never had this issue with the prev 5ver (7 years), and the MORryde didn't do this. My question is, if you have a Flex-Air pinbox is yours rusting and dropping rust **** all over your truck? A 2 month old pinbox making this mess is bullsh!t and the response I am getting (Normal for this 2 month old pinbox to rust and drop rust stain all over bed and hitch) is also bullsh!t. Here is the old truck and hitch This is the new truck after 1 trip Re: Fifth Wheel Hitch DecisionThe B&W companion weight ratings are based on the base of the companion and not the head. So it is designed around the pucks that come from the factory so unless those change on Ford/Chevy and provide a larger base I don't see the weight limit going up on Ford/chevy.Re: Upgraded to sailun s637 Tires, huge difference from towmaxesTrailer tires need to be at MAX psi. If you have a blowout and they ask what psi they were at and if you say anything other than MAX they will deny the claim (info from treddit tire in Elkhart, IN)New truck, trailer height..Looking for opinions to see if I am high enough in the front to cause issues. Truck is in Alt trailer height mode and B&W hitch arms are in the front and lowest setting and the flex air are in the upper holes. Pictured is old and new. Went back to factory to have broken frame welds fixedRe: Lippert Auto LevelingNot understanding the question. I lift the front off the truck, pull truck out and press auto level.
