Used a UPS store and they would forward our mail wherever, whenever, however (UPS, US mail) when we sent them an e-mail requesting it. They would also toss all ads/circulars. Worked very well for us for 4+ years including for DMV, insurance, etc. At the time -- don't know about current rules -- we were allowed to us an address that listed the box number without stating that it was a box, so most people just assumed it was an apartment or condo #.Re: Which is better for slide out seals??+1 on the 303.Re: Packets or Liquid for Black water tankWe only use chemicals when putting the RV up for a while -- whether in the winter or for extended periods. Other than that nothing is really needed...+1 on the Geo method.Re: Allison transmission sprung a leak. Anyone else?Having had the Ally in a large motorhome, my advice is to take it to an Allison shop...not a 3rd party or car/truck dealership. They will do the best job of diagnosing and fixing any problems you may have.Re: new to dieselTruck lanes are the way to go for speed and ease of in/out...even my pickup has a large inlet. When we had a motorhome I used to put on some old sneakers or booties so that I wouldn't track any spilled fuel/debris through the coach.Re: Scientists discover dogs' preferred bathroom positionWell, one of ours doesn't care and the other doesn't care about direction but will only do her business after she turns counter-clockwise at least twice...no exceptions and we have no idea why...maybe we can get a grant to study this behavior as it must have some benefit worth the research.Re: Residential, or reg refrigeratorOn our last rig we upgraded to a full size residential fridge...best upgrade...ever :C. I have the details on my blog at Residential Refrigerator Upgrade.Re: Steering/Ride Quality of Big Three HD trucksI've got an '11 DMax (2500HD; 3/4 ton) pulling my airstream @ 11,000 lb on a regular basis. Steering is fine with regard to the problem your having regarding excessive movement. Very happy with everything on the truck and the engine braking/hill holder/towing brake/etc have been great. Taken it from Seattle to San Diego a couple of times and never downshifted...left it in cruise (tow mode) whenever possible.Rivet missing - Light FixtureI noticed that one of my overhead fluorescent fixtures was dim, so thinking that a bulb had burned out I pulled the plastic cover and a bulb -- as well as some plastic bits -- fell out :h Short story is that there are 4 rivets that attach the fixture sides to the base and one was missing. Also, the fixture was secured to the ceiling with only 3 rather than 4 possible screws. The combination allowed one tube to vibrate enough that the plastic socket covers for the tubes eventually failed. I ended up replacing it entirely with LED's. The long version of this is on my blog if you're interested.Re: Heater/Air ConditionerCould it be that the sensor is caked with dust/dirt?
