Wondering if it is OK to roll it up with the awning if bad weather is coming.Re: Chirping propane regulatorThe regulator was replaced last year because the older one was also doing that. I hear some others doing the same thing. Doesn't seem to matter which tank it is pointing to. This last trip it was no colder than 60 degrees outside in the morning. Can't figure it out.Chirping propane regulatorWhat makes the propane tank regulator chirp and how can it be stopped? It make that rhythmic sound when I use the water heater or furnace. Really annoying.Exterior DiscolorationI have a 2008 FunFinder Xtra Toy Hauler. White fiberglass exterior. Last year we had a water leak in the roof at the right rear corner. It was properly repaired and hasn't leaked since. As a result of the leak some water must have got into the wall. Now there is a brown color coming through the exterior. I figure it is from either cardboard or plywood that is part of the wall construction. Apparently, it got wet from the leak and the color is coming to the exterior. I have tried various bleach products to neutralize it, but not working. Anyone have any ideas for getting rid of this discoloration? TIARe: Jerky while towingYou can buy a clamp that clamps the receiver and hitch together to eliminate all play. It eliminates the noise too. I have been using one for years and wouldn't be without it.Re: Marathons, what to replace withMaxxis M8008. Travel proven for years. I never run anything but and have never had a problem.. I change them every 5 years.Re: Jerky while towingYou should adjust the electric brake. Too much brake and it will be uneven and jerk. Back off until you have a smooth stop.Re: How to Secure Travel Trailer at Campsite?I have to echo the trust you have to place in fellow campers. If you can make an acquaintance early on you will have someone who will watch out for you, and visa versa. I have never had anything stolen - anything, ever! In some campgrounds though, I will admit, I have run the cable lock through the wheel and suspension just to be safe. Thankfully, I could probably count the times on one hand during the past 10 years.Re: Generator Dilemma: Need AdviceMy preference is the Yamaha. Equal in every way to Honda but comes from Japan, our ally. We use the 2000 watt inverter. Wonderful generator for dry camping. Also use it to power radio equipment for ham radio.Re: Generator Dilemma: Need AdviceHonda
